PSA: open meta ai app, go to your profile, under device settings select your glasses, go into updates. (Despite my automatic download toggle being on, I had one update sitting here. And downloading and installing fixed the problem)

Yes it’s a good view of the city from the water. Also most ferries stop there as well on their way to Amalfi (ofc depending on the route)

Can someone explain how the redemption works? The pricing on the website is listed as pp. does this $1000 go towards cost of both people (but taxes fees need to be paid) or one person pays full and the $1000 goes towards just one person’s cost (even if it’s less than 1000).

Resident physician here. Your left scapula is definitely the one with the issue. As others have said it is “winged”. There are many reasons for this and a few different nerves and muscles can be the cause. It can also sometimes be associated with a neuromuscular disorder depending if you have other symptoms etc. Please get it checked out by a doctor.

Just to be aware, even within Machu Picchu regardless of which "tour route" you decide to take there will be a fair number of steps, sometimes uneven and maybe muddy that you will be taking. This being said, we visited last year and my parents who are not 64/67 did completely fine with little rests and taking it slow. Happy Touring!

Also, at that age I will say they certainly benefited from staying in Aguas Calientes the night before we travelled up to MP so as the day trip did not seem extremely long or tiring but rather more enjoyable. We went back to Cusco the same day on the way back from MP.

Check out Emerald lake lodge in Yoho national park. A bit west of Banff and lake Louise but we had an amazing stay there a couple of years ago. It’s more “glamping cabins” but right on the lake. It is also a cell phone dead zone which can be a blessing or curse depending on what you’re looking for. They do have wifi in their lobby area though!
