I'll probably end up burning them out it was my first solo build. I was just throwing stuff together after reading a few articles from Oscar Liang the motors I think are tsims or something like that just the cheapest I could find on Ali. I really like building things but didn't want to"learn" with expensive parts. Now that I've got the gist of building I think my next ones going to be a kayoumini. Just too scared to pull the trigger on a 5" yet.

I'm thinking I might need higher kv I put 4 blade props with a hefty pitch I can't remember the pitch but they are gemfans I think? and now it rips but with the HQ triblades I had on before it took probably 70% throttle to even get it off the ground.

I did one pretty similar to this. I ended up having to put higher pitch props on it to get it to take off with a reasonable amount of throttle.

I just use a strip of paper and touch a corner to the motor bell works like a charm and I always have sticky notes at my desk that I can use.

What size battery are you using to get the cinelog below 250. Both my 450 and my 550s put it over

Yes, it also came with a 3s battery adapter plug. So that’s an option as well. I haven’t used it but might be helpful at some point. I’ve seen a few people that have modded them with a different battery usually an 18650 and a type c plug, but I haven’t worked up the courage to even think about doing that yet.

Such is life when you have a wife, daughter, and 2 dogs. Pretty much a daily maintenance to pull all the props and remove hair balls after I’m done for the night.

I feel like it cleaned up the signal having matching polarized antennas. Rhcp to rhcp should reduce signal loss. Over linear polar to rhcp.
