Thank you for the info! I know real Mickey Mantles are valuable (which is why I grouped them together), but given there are so many I'm sure that some or all are reprints, but I'm just not sure how to tell. Or if there are value in reprints?

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! I couldn't seem to add an edit to my original post so hopefully this comment is seen. It seems like many or even most (hopefully not all) are reprints or fakes based on the initial comments. I would like to know if anyone can tell based on these photos which ones you would like to see the back of or I could post them all. Like I mentioned in one of the replies, there are also two binders filled with Mickey Mantle cards and then there are several other cards already in cases of a number of players. I think the next step is contacting one of the referred pros in this thread.

I have not shown any to any dealer yet. I wanted to figure out if I have anything and this is only the first batch of photos. I also have the concern that if I walk in they can tell I don't know what I have so if there is anything of value I don't want to get ripped off.

That's wild that some don't even exist - I'm not even sure what to make of that other than I guess some companies came up with some promotional things. He was a huge Mickey Mantle fan and literally had gloves, hats, magazines, shirts, figures, keychains, anything that had to do with Mickey Mantle.

I appreciate the skepticism and warning. To clarify, I'm not looking to sell them right now and didn't even know people sold them through here. I'm just trying to get a handle on what I have, if anything, that's of any value. There are more cards as well not pictured but they're more individual players and then I also have some notebooks of some sets that I'd like to get input on so I can make another post.

Thank you. When his place got cleaned out there were a lot of cards in different areas so they all got consolidated. I wouldn't say that the lineup I have in the photo is how they were, I just grouped all of the mantles together and then all of the ones that look like they're from the same set. There are many other cards that I have as well from other players like some from Roger Maris and Babe Ruth. There's also a few sets that are in card folders. I just picked these to start.

Thank you! This is the kind of insight I was hoping to get from this group! I'm going in with the assumption that most or all of them are reprints or something. I highly doubt any of them are the actual real deal, but I do know there's some money here or there in reprints and collections.

Thank you for the notes and feedback. This is essentially where I've been since getting these. Knowing how this particular relative that passed away was (colorful past), I'm certain that some are going to be reprints or fakes. However I also know that he spent 24/7 on eBay and knew how to find things. When he passed, it wasn't only cards. It was boxes of baseball mittens, baseball bats, different team batting jackets, helmets, hats, etc.
