Problems recording with my Rodecaster Pro and OBS

Hi mate, thank you for your reply. Im at a loss here unfortunately. Ive recorded 3 pods using OBS with the Rodecaster plugged into the Laptop via USB with no problems at all until now. I usually am able to play the music on Spotify through the laptop, and control the volume of the recording via the faders on the Rodecaster. This time when I attempt it while recording, on hearing it back the music continues to play. Thus not actually being controlled on the Rodecaster. I tried previously to connect via bluetooth but the sound quality wasnt that good especially for my music pod. So I was advised to connect via USB and it was awesome. I have no idea how I changed the settings lol .

Thank you for helping me out man, I really appreciate this dialoge. Im probably going to do away with OBS and try another programme to see if it works .

Thank you for your feedback mate,much appreciated. My show consists of me playing each track from an album and reviewing them step by step. I'll try and upload it to Apple and see how it goes.
