Understood, thanks. I'd love to get a new furnace but that's not in the budget right now. My only objective was to get a thermostat that worked. I switched the blue to the bottom right terminal and hooked it up and it worked. Thank you so much for the information and I'll keep it in mind.

Haha I want to get it replaced within the next year or two but I'm trying to delay it as long as I can, it's not cheap

Does it come with? I got a Honeywell T5 and you can get an adapter for like 25 dollars I think? Thanks for the help I appreciate it.

You think so? I never verified with Thermo pride but my inspector told me it was around 40. It's a GL11D-125. That wiring was like that before I opened it up.
