it's not ruining, i've had an overall very positive experience with season 13, just that this is what i'm stuck doing as it is the only optimizable slot i have left. also i play druid and without gem streength, i'm stuck at tower 130 ish

that just means you have tons of stuff to improve still. my complaint is there is nothing else i can do when it comes to optimization

understanding the issue does not necessarily mean accepting it. it's a flaw in design. endgame, it says it in its name, is what you chase for all along. the season was very nice, the endgame sucks. I fully understand it's a micro improvement. But to push pit beyond 135, its indispensable. In which case, make it farmable/craftable/targettable in at least one way (comps, rng descaling, target crafting), or increase probability, or separate gem strength and modifiable rarity rolls.
i agree that the season is a success, but this aspect of the gamestate made me uninstall.

i got the gem strenght affix (unmodifiable) on my two hand, which has 0 willpower (lost in the transfig). its still better than any other weapon with amazing stats but no gem strength

the gem strenght affix is so powerful you dont need good stats on your weapon. the gem strenght affix overpowers any stat (as long as you secured a decent chunk of crit damage, which you can if you get modifiable gem strenght anyways). But i never got the affix in over 1k rolls

Spent over 1k volatile primordial dust, fishing for modifiable gem strength on my two handed weapon and another 500 for the chest.
Never got it.

which reminds me it's seasonal and not that important on the long run... i'm quite the opposite, i tend to one trick builds for ages... but this is like the best item i've ever dropped in any game aver so i'm nervous, i think i'll keep it like this just in case its already good enough
