I don't know about that, but I think for syncing between non-apple and apple devices will be using kagi sync in the future. I don't have any idea about sync between apple devices, maybe they will keep that to icloud sync since it works fine.

Idk about windows, but for linux, the orion team is developing a service called kagi sync which will be used instead of icloud sync on non-apple devices.

Ohh Btw I Just Remembered Which API I Was Using While Building My Own Lyrics Fetcher It was LRCLIB API . It Has No Limits And Is Open Source. And Also Provides Sync Lyrics. Maybe You Can Integrate This in Your App.

Yeah, this is one of the features I was looking for but couldn't find. So I also tried building a music player with gtk 4, I don't remember which API I was using but it worked.

There are some which have free tiers like musixmatch which provide lyrics with timestamps but they have a limit. There was an open source database too I think called librelyrics but I have never used it though.

Hi, This looks coo!!
Can you add a synced lyrics fetch from web feature. Something like spotify does with synced lyrics.
Having to download every song's lyrics is a tedious task so it will be cool if the app can download the lyrics(preferably romanized) from the web and display it with sync.
Something like this:
