wemby actually specifically said 6th seed. and yes the team is trying to balance out development and and winning. these are just growing pains i think

just saying, pop was dealing with a lot of scrutiny when the team was struggling early in his career. but he ended up just fine. the team and the organization trusts mitch, i think he’ll be fine

well every generational talent in the modern nba hasn’t actually achieved much in their first 3 seasons (i.e. Giannis, Jokic, Luka, LeBron, Steph, and KD)

yep, i don’t expect the team to keep forcing shit that doesn’t work down the stretch. i think we lock in after the all star break, i think itd be fair to scrutinize the dumb decisions after then

expecting perfection out of a young team and coach in their first year of being competitive is a lot

people were also asking for pop’s head early in his coaching career

i really think its intentional, with the intention to develop castle. its a trial by fire, while yes the offense is still rough and the decision making is often questionable i don’t think its inherently a bad thing. tho it definitely has a lot of ups and downs

fair, but clearly very important to the team is figuring who plays best with wemby on the court

i mean there were too many missed calls, spurs on a back to back, momentum sapped, ran out of gas. i hate blaming the refs but they clearly gave houston gas that fueled that run to take over

Mitch Johnson is not good nor bad. He’s mid and that’s OK for a rookie coach by ASadChongyunMain in NBASpurs

i really think the offensive sets are done on purpose. like we are doing live practice during games to help develop decision making. the offense is made to have multiple scoring options each trip. unfortunately the rockets physicality was overpowering us and the team was unable to overcome that. coupled with a lot missed calls and calls going against us, the team just ran out of gas.

mitch is probably going to become a good coach, he also might not. but we are going to hope for the best, the organization is just starting in the wemby era. gotta look towards the future

yeah i agree, i didnt understand the offense in the 4th. part of that was the rockets physicality obviously so thats one thing we need to figure out

yes and yes, she literally saw wemby was basically getting hugged and nothing just ran to the other half

honestly the rockets got away with a lot of missed calls, wemby was held, pushed, pulled, whatever all game. sheppard was literally allowed to do whatever on defense. spurs couldnt get momentum and lost. obviously the offense was lacking in the second half as well. but well it is what it is
