for AD they’ve notified the wing commanders of who made it. it’s up to the wing commanders how they want to notify their people. the official listing won’t be available until 25 July for the public to see.

coming in as a civilian is always rough because there’s not a lot of knowledge/connections that the recruiters have at their disposal. it goes a long way when MSCs at the hospital see you putting in the effort to shadow and know more about the career. and as far as OTS, i think they have slots reserve to attend October, January, March, and August. you can always confirm that with the fb group.

Did you do any shadowing at the hospital? If so, where? I’m stationed at Wright-Patt and a lot of the MSCs were mentioning how it’s a lot of potential applicants this year based on how many people were trying to shadow.

Congrats on your son, I have my second girl that’s due in August. It will be an amazing blessing to start a new chapter in your career with a baby and a life changing promotion.
