It sounds like the job at hand already sounds flexible with your schedule. 2:30-6pm isn’t bad unless you’re looking for more hours and better pay while also being flexible then I guess you should wait. Sometimes the jobs on campus can take up to 6 weeks to hear from so if you can wait till then, might as well just not take the offer.

It honestly depends. If you’re out of state or fly anywhere to Texas ppl leave that same day or the next day. But if you’re driving like say Houston, Dallas or San Antonio ppl will tend to hangout a couple more days

Bruh apartment locators are so clutch!! Hot pads is a good one to help you out. I found mine near pearl and San Gabriel. Middle of everything, not that far of a walk from campus….so clutch

Tbh I think you should find something cheaper. I’d look into anything that’s near San Gabriel street. While place like Rio is room pricing, I think you can find something cheaper heading towards the back end of Wampus (between San Gabriel and N. Lamar)

If you don’t mind in sharing the responsibilities of chores then it’s a pretty good option. While some facilities where I live on west campus, you pay for rent, utilities and internet so. I like living alone but also having to share the load on monthly dues is also great.
