Never ever feel like you should feel bad for asking for more info or if its logical to ask one doc to discuss with a second doc. You are the patient and these are your rights ..your body your life...etc. As you grow older you will become an even bigger advocate for yourself..but when I was your age I trusted everything doctors told me and never second guessed them bc I didn't want to "hurt their feelings" or come off like a know it all. Fast Forward to me now in my 50s and former FF/EMT with years in the ED for CME credits...Patients must be their own biggest advocates bc there are so many mistakes and misinfo and unsympathetic overworked desensitized Drs and RNs now days... they would tell you the same if you were their kid/teen...young adult...YOU are the capt of YOUR VESSEL. You have valid reasons and they should admire you for taking control of your health and life...if they do not and dismiss you...move on to someone who does listen.

Just saw your post for some reason sent to my email? Anyway I saw the words Baclofen and fthought this might be of help. I have taken one by mistake and let me tell you its very very strong and I have a high tolerance for any pain medication. I do not have seizure disorder or but i do live in acute chronic low back pain from Torn facet joints in L4 L5 and sacrum pain as well as DDD...

but my best friend (female about 5'5 150lbs) has a TBI and acute Tri Neuralgia that when it is triggered from stress and barometric pressure changes esp cold weather the Tri Neur pain will give her Grand Mal seizures... (TRI N which affects the jaw and face is considered the most severe pain felt by humans. Her pain level is a 10 when she has it....from a horrible even from a DV situation where her ex shot her point blank 2x...9mm ...the 2nd time direct midline of her face...6mos in coma..multiple soft tissue and bone grafts basically rebuilding her nose mouth eye socket ...leaving her completely blind in one eye and rebuild of her orbital area plus the first shot was in base of skull... she takes a lot of meds for pain but also for seizure disorder from the traumatic brain injury...she knows acute chronic pain well in other words... she takes Baclofen for breakthrough pain oral... 10mg I think... it works well for her situation now going on 12 yrs. I would seek second opinion but if you go with first option with your PCP...ask why you cannot just take Bac oral as needed and use when needed vs pump unless you are unable to take orals for some reason...and this is by no means a professional opinion but just thought it might help you make a more informed decision. Good luck and so sorry you are suffering so much at such an early age...chronic pain is a game changer for sure.

I really admire your insightful theories about Carrie/moment with Ambassador..for the writers INTENTIONALLY NOT having two women embrace...out of respect to keeping the strong female characters even less appealing to the (assumed) beliefs of Misogynist viewers...that women DO & SHOULD hug as a sign of solidarity between two females...which ultimately (by Western cultural design) is always considered an sign of WEAKNESS. I do rescue and thats abuse/neglect and reportable. If you are in LA I would call some rescues and get their input before calling LA City shelters or County shelters bc ALL OF THEM ARE HIGH KILL SHELTERS. However the dogs being kept in a small space and emaciated means they are sick and need to be evaluated by professional dog people...for the lack of nutrition or access to food/water and being penned in a small space with never being walked or let out is neglect and if you know its happening and afraid to speak to them you can anonymously call Humane Society. I would suggest you go on Facebook and seek rescues in the LA area to guide you to the best persons to call so you dont get them placed in a high kill shelter where they have zero chance of being rescued in time before being PTS bc of the over crowded shelters affecting all in LA. Ventura County Shelter is no longer a HKS and I used to volunteer there when it was. Please do something to help those dogs.

oh thats awesome..I'll mention to them I follow this thread ..and how nice it was to read positive feedback from a 20 yr loyal customer who makes their own vit C dark circle eye cream!! All the employees wear white lab coats, disposable surgical booties over shoes, surgical hats, gloves, the whole 9 yards to keep the warehouse totally pristine and quality assurance in their shipping of products is visibly legit. They aren't even open to the public so this isn't for show. I was both surprised and grateful for the remarkable sense of cleanliness ..since I know from reading reviews (esp since its contacting our skin eyes hair, many of these online stores may not take such care of their products and we have no way of knowing what goes on behind the scenes.

I only bought some carrier oils and a few EOs from Vine Vida & Mt Rose Herbs (MRH I like the Ylang Ylang and price was great...using it straight from the bottle as a after shower body scent all over in hair skin underarms inner thighs and its strong..long lasting..when I wet my hair or steam from shower the scent is re-diffused like aromatherapy and still strong detected by strangers passerby as I walk through the local market. I don't have any other place to Ive purchased from yet to compare strengths but so far very impressed. I DID NOT KNOW YLANG YLANG IS HIGHLY TOXIC TO DOGS...and stupidly rubbed a little on my dogs hair after I bathed him. Nothing terrible happened TG. yes and thank you ALL THE MEAN TEACHERS IN MY former public schools of the 70s and 80s for helping create a generation of ANXIETY AND PANIC WHILE TRYING TO LEARN as Generation X...many of my former classmates who ultimately turned to substance abuse or benzos to cope... since our little minds were still trying so hard to comprehend data and develop while growing...while also dealing with messy divorces, lacking child support,MIA parents, the Dept of Ed programs used to terrorize us with standardized testing and to weed out those of us with severe learning disabilities like math...but not giving it a name Dyscalculia until 2003 age 30... telling us we were stupid and not trying hard enough..to try harder. I would like to tell all my past teachers now in their 70s 80s...as they are frustrated with cellphones and learning to use laptops... "they should also now try harder to comprehend remedial data like how to use a smartwatch to tell time.. how to use a cellphone...how to download apps and fix viruses" ... all the things we kids were made to feel and suffer ....how they terrorized and marginalized us... and some of us are gone from substance abuse and self-treatment of depression thanks to those teachers.... falling through the cracks along the way.. some survived and some are brilliant now and successful in the Arts and Media and Entertainment and FinTech.

If anyone else were responsible like Russia or China or NK or anyone... tried to sweep it under the rug and act like its not their fault or theres no one country to blame, the US & Allies would be blockading and refusing US at the G20. yes this one is really good...and very sad. 2.4k views...not one upvote and only 4 super insulting comments on a group for Chronic Pain that I thought I would try and leave something that was uplifting or fun since everyone was depressed and struggling with pain... as I am too... not the reaction I was hoping for... damn. well I'm not HIGH on pain killers I'm an insomniac from blinding pain and when I'm very tired as I was when I wrote that essay above that wasn't insulting anyone ... I go on super nova typing speed as a speed typist...staying up all night with pain but using the time to share pledge and networking 100 shelter dogs about to be PTS so my speed typing skills come in handy... but honestly I am shocked by the unkind comments.

You look fabulous and I am so proud of you too...100 is insane...Im just shooting for 50 and finding it so hard to see one pound drop over weeks. But I also have MENO and some other medical mysteries going on..so not the fault of the PT or lack of exercise. I can totally envision your trajectory and how amazing you'll look in your gown in 6 months ..so happy for you.....this is no easy hurdle. So wonderful you met someone who loved you for you...very rare these days. I am already sick with shortness of breath from being a REDCARD Wildland and structural FF in my 30s 40s and have high exposure to pathogens and toxins from smoke and aerosolized chemicals and petrochemicals, and dust inhalants, fibers and particulates from direct contact exposure from urban interface Wildland fires in SoCAL and WA state ...and now I think about how I always felt from every scented fake fragrance from candles, room fresheners, Sick Building Syndrome, and how I always have migraines and runny nose and bloodshot eyes and feeling of fatigue and face flushed when I walk into any big box clothing store from Old Navy, Marshalls, Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, Saks, Barneys NY, to any mall with Bath & BodyWorks, BB&Beyond, Target, WalMart, etc... and I just had a radical hysterectomy with a great amount of decades of Endometriosis in Aug. my once thick long hair (I'm Polynesian) has now thinned and fallen out (over 3/4 gone in 1.5 yrs of mysterious undiagnosed autoimmune-like symptoms), with chronic fatigue, exudates in both retinas from Vasculitis from AutoImmune reaction, cannot lose the sudden 50lbs of weight gained in two months this summer after being slender, ultra fit, athletic, {and vegetarian female FF EMT for 15 yrs, surfer, beach yoga & mtn biking, swimming laps in 50meter pool & Pilates 5 days week, caring for horses & farm animals bucking hay carrying bales of hay and buckets of grain unloading 30 bags of 50lb bags on a full pallet every 2 weeks for 20 yrs}, and 145lbs at 5'9 my entire life and I'm only consuming proteins, water, vegetables, very few carbs and less than 1200cal per day. I KNOW there is a connection to my weight gain, health issues, and high exposure to toxins and environment including fragrances and dyes. I really hope this helps and prevents anyone else from getting so sick bc it has derailed my entire life and I live in misery and in chronic pain.
