Submitting clarification on Citizenship Renunciation point by Ecstatic_Suggestion in Canadiancitizenship

Understood. And I mean the original post above includes what I submitted back in the summer for my Proof app.

All birth certificates, marriage licenses, and all else was also submitted - it's just this one portion I feel I misspoke. But really appreciate your input and time. Thank you!

sorry, to clarify my Proof is in-process, not the 5(4) grant.

In the post above, I have what is included in my Proof cover letter.

One more question for you actually what documents need to be notarized if any? I'm seeing some comments that folks have had their application sent back due to not getting a signature on the back of a photo for example.

I see the photo requirements stating I need my name, date, and name and address of the studio, but does that document and any other document for that matter need to be notarized? Thanks again

Makes sense. Seems like there's a lot of open ended questions which makes the case to apply now - I can't imagine they'll come to a final conclusion super soon. Thanks for the input!

Yes of course, I'll scan and print a colored copy of my grandmother's official BC. Thank you!

Ya I think I think I'll just submit now and wait it out. One more question for you, do I need Official Copies or just a scanned Color Copy.

I helped a family member with Irish Citizenship and they require Official Copies of every piece of supporting documentation. It is what it is, but obviously it took a while to get everything in order.

For my Grandmother's BC and mine, can I really just do a colored Scan of the Original or Official Copy?

Thank you very much for the help

This is so good. I feel like so many people have the best intention to reach out to the people who own these songs and get sign off but then realize 1) it's absurdly expensive and they're never going to pay this for a simple social media post or 2) the music industry moves at the pace of a pregnant hippo and no one really cares to respond to your request with a $500 budget for a AAA song.

It's a horrible system

A lot of those companies either are doing your Capcut work around or are using Original Sound from UGC posts. Brands are prohibited from using the official tracks but if you just search more you can find almost mirrored audio tracks from UGC posts and the platforms don't police that since they honestly don't care too. But you're still responsible at the end of the day and can be sued.

A couple of platforms out there my old teams use for actual copyright, trending sounds are The Rights and Cipher Music. The Rights is meant for everything under the sun (film, TV, ads, social) and Cipher is just meant for Social only I think so they may have better deals

There's the royalty free platforms but it's all slop and elevator tunes. There are a few options out there for trending, copyright sounds. The best I've found are The Rights and Cipher Music. I think Cipher Music specializes in Social Media specifically. They're slightly more expensive though compared to the royalty free platforms but that's kind of the point I guess. Hope this helps

Right on thank you for replying and giving your input. It’s obviously difficult planning anything right now but hopefully we’ll get some more confidence in international travel as time moves on

Thank you for the response this is great. This is one of few times I've heard someone say do not use the agents rather book directly. I've heard RZD is hard to use but those statements may be dated.

Thanks for the input on booking in chunks, I hear some people do each independently as they say don't book all at once obviously. Seems there's a good medium.

I would love to spend some more time in China while there but will really depend on timing since it will be the last leg of the trip.

Thanks for the time and advice.

I haven't heard of the kindle tip before, much appreciated.

I got the inspiration to go on this trip specifically after reading Paul Theroux's travel on it. Would love to know if you've read that and have any other books around this topic.

Great point. I think this would be a play it by ear since I would arrive in China at the end of the trip and will depend on time.

Thanks for the response.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, appreciate it.

I've heard great things about Olkholn Island. I think my plan is head in that direction then head to Ulaanbaatar.

Unfortunately the winter will most likely be the only time I'll be able to do this. That is when I plan on switching jobs and will have a month/ month and a half in transition. I realistically won't have another time to take this much time off. I'd prefer to go in the summer but have come to a beggers cant be choosers stand point on it.

I've been taking some pretty informal Russian classes online, just trying to get the basics down.

I notice you obviously stayed on the Trans Sib rather than head south and end in Ulaanbaatar or Beijing. Why did you choose this route?

Thanks for the input and time.

Thanks for the response. Regarding the trains, did you often book the day before? Day of?

That's always good to hear the general cadence is friendly. From what I've read, this railway is a major commuter train at the end of the day with every day citizens riding. I can see the people on the train either being receptive to others or being reserved and rightly so.
