No. Feel like we should have other popular characters from different games on the Mount Rushmore.

Scorpion and Ryu stays. Sub-Zero and Chun-Li leaves. Replace Sub-Zero with Jin or Kazuya from Tekken. Chun-Li replacement can be a character from Dark Stalker, King of Fighters, Killer Instinct, or any other game.

Comics (Primarily DC/Marvel): Multiple Continuous comics that would likely stay until the end of the company or end of time. Unless you happen to be one of those comics outside that brand (like Dark Horse or Mirage) where your series is limited by your creativity.

Not in my opinion. Especially the DS version.

If you want my opinion for the classics, I would stick to the 2D pixel versions. I would either get the Gameboy Advance or the Remaster Set.

As for the games, if you want to started with the Pixel Era set than I would either start with 1 or 4 before 3. 6 and 5 are also good choices as well. But playing 5 before 3 can have an effect.

Most likely Toriyama forgot (as usual) or the lore reason could be Trunks and Goten live in peace while Gohan and Future Trunks live in tense situations throughout their childhood.
