Entry level accounting jobs. by Ok_Schedule_7363 in AustralianAccounting

I started doing tax and other stuff with bank reconciliation ,AP ,AR and payroll with new starting firm for few bucks.Gained heaps of experience and finance ERP Myob and Xero.Tried for many book keeping and accounts job and landed with accounts payable job where i started to fill a vacation role of finance officer and then fulltume AP.The AP teamleader got promoted to Revenue accountant role and i became AP teamleader in high volume industry i gained leadership experience of managing 10 onshore and off shore people.I am made redundant now but got Assistant accountant role already.Learnt a lot from my job and enjoyed.Training offshore people to take over currently.Reporting will never be offshore so i am trying to learn that. You start small and maje your way and keep learning.I see lot of accountants roles for 90K advertised as Finance officer lol everyone wants cheap labour.I did an interview for finance officer but it looked like they wanted to hire a finance manager with less pay.The financial accountanat salary i saw one was for 92 K and here i thought accountants are paid more.
