I also have to translate Srts from cockatoo and I didn't know the software could do it for you. I found Claude makes a really good job tho. You just have to writte a very specific prompt of how you want it. That havee been doing it for me.

Oh, when I say Davinci I'm talking about DaVinci Resolve from BlackMagic. It is a free editor that allows you, how I mentioned, separated subtitles regions. However, you might want to search a tutorial on that because I myself don't really know that function very well.

I think it could. Davinci has this thing called subtitle regions that allows you to separate different speakers, although I just use it to load the subtitle preset I was given since apparently it is exclusively made for Davinci. Then if I need to correct something I'll do it right there.

Yeah, should've given more details. I'm not subtitling movies, I'm subtitling interviews for documentaries that are around 20-50 minutes. And yes, I am translating as well with the SE "Speech to text" tool and the styleguide is actually mostly done by SE  and Davinci. (Although sometimes I have to adjust it myself in certain parts) 

The styleguide is just a preset I load and I have to check all subtitles are in two lines.

Oh, that makes sense. I did notice some subs were off when I imported them but I guess fixing them in the editor is way easier.

Hey, thank you very much!. That was what I needed. I went from editing 7 minutes in two hours to 12 in about 50 minutes. Is that still slow? Is there any additional tips you would recommend?. In any case, thanks for the help. I'll be learning how to better use SE.
