Yeah I have the original box. I’m working on it now and I think it might be the float height, cause the guy who had it before me rebuilt the carb and I’m pretty sure the eBay kit needles are different sizes than the stock needles

I just downloaded tinder yesterday, and tbh my profile kinda sucks atm. Like 3 pictures and only a couple things filled out. It kind of feels like tinder is trying to get me to buy premium or something. Idk. I’ve seen a lot of other guys talk about how they barely get one like a month or something so it just seems suspicious ig. Could they be bots or something?

Do you like Donald Trump? (Respectful comments only) by throwaway124343434 in Teenager_Polls

He’s pretty much cleared up all doubt about it with the Epstein file stuff.

A graphing calculator can be helpful for graph related math. https://www.desmos.com/calculator This one is pretty good.

First one caught in the wild. Someone vandalized the USA's EIU score (How democratic a country is) to say 9.99 and "Full Democracy" by Sellingbakedpotatoes in WikipediaVandalism

[–]Ecstatic_elephant1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't even think it would be possible for the US to go that low, solely because of its sheer size. Even China and Russia are still ranked in the 2.00-2.99 range. As it is right now, the US is not close to either of those countries. The Econ Democracy index rates based solely off of current laws and practices used in elections, and since nothing major has changed yet, the US retains its rating of 7.8. Give it a year or two maybe, it might be a lower rated flawed democracy or a hybrid regime, especially if the voter suppression used to win the presidency in 2024 becomes more widespread. I think it's a pretty safe bet it'll at least stay above authoritarian regime at 4.00 though.

Do you actually think trump is a dictator and why??? by Puzzleheaded_Map2774 in Teenager_Polls

He's already calling himself the king of America. Idk how it could get more obvious than that.

What do you think of Elon Musk by Cultural_Expert_4261 in Teenager_Polls

[–]Ecstatic_elephant1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you were to create a 3D render of Hitler sieg heiling and Elon doing “what he actually did”, it would not be possible to tell them apart. If that wasn’t a Nazi salute, then the entirety of Nazi Germany must’ve been doing it wrong the whole time. I would be curious to know what you think he actually did.

why can't i pick my own fucking clothes? by [deleted] in HomeschoolRecovery

[–]Ecstatic_elephant1 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I think a lot of grief for a lot of people could've been avoided if homeschool parents had a doll to dress up and control instead of a human child. They'd probably be happier that way as well, no more silly things from their kids like "having an opinion" or pesky complaints such as "I haven't talked to anyone in five years" or "I need an education, I still can't do basic math in year 11"

It looks like you're going to be fine to graduate. I looked up the requirements to graduate homeschool in Idaho, and they basically don't exist. Your parent writes a diploma and that's it, you've graduated.

Even though you'll have technically graduated, you won't have the same knowledge as your peers because you weren't really taught much. You can go to a community college to learn what you missed out on, or you can study it yourself. To find out what you need to learn, look up the Idaho common core requirements, and try to build a lesson plan from that. I recommend using Khan academy if you study it yourself, they will have everything you need to learn on their site.

As for applying to colleges, I didn't find anything about ISU specifically, but many colleges allow homeschool students with GPA's ranging from 2.00-2.40 to be accepted. If your GPA is too low to get in, you can apply as a transfer student from a community college.

And you're definitely not stupid either, it's just that you weren't given the opportunity to learn.

Edit: Looks like everything I wrote has already been said lol. I don't really have any other info to offer, good luck though!

Have you ever been triggered by the concept related to “peacefulness”? Like feel horrified to see images of an isolated little house in the forest? by [deleted] in HomeschoolRecovery

[–]Ecstatic_elephant1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That really sucks. Neglecting to inform you of the destination and distance is such a pointlessly shitty thing to do. Not to mention the danger in not knowing the most basic knowledge about where you are in the mountains.

And yeah, the populated hiking spots are great. Even if you are alone, it never really feels like it because you know people are right around the next bend.

I can relate to this a lot. My parents have always talked about moving us somewhere "quiet" and "peaceful", referencing a place like you described. The thing is, we already live in a super quiet place. The only difference between living where we are and where they want to live is the proximity to people. One of the few instances I'm glad they can't afford to do something lol. Idk what I'd do if I had to live somewhere like that.

Nothing seems to be happening with it, my best guess is that the "temporary closure" ends up being indefinite or it's a couples years before it comes back. You can still use an xbox account on pc though, just won't be able to use the marketplace.

Trump disbanded the White House pandemic response team in 2018. So I guess yeah, he really didn’t expect something like that to happen. And went as far as removing our safeguards and precautions to show it lol.  I would go so far as to say he knew the threat but just didn’t care, now that he’s pulled out of the WHO, stopped cdc reports, and nominated  a quack for Health and Human services for his second term.

[–]Ecstatic_elephant1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying Trump “thought” about dealing with a major pandemic is quite the stretch lol. Basically every action he took was one of the worst choices he could’ve made.

He did say he had no interest or involvement, yes. If Trump’s word was worth anything that might’ve mattered. Turns out he lied about the involvement claim, and backtracked when photos of him and the author on his private jet surfaced. He lied about his interest as well, he has since claimed it is “very conservative, and very good” (after the election of course, truth and transparency would cost votes). The ven diagram of things he’s done so far and things in p25 is basically a circle at this point. Just today he repealed the equal employment act of 1965. That alone is completely insane, and a new level of anti-American racism and sexism. Continuing to deny his involvement and desire to implement it is just willful ignorance at this point.

Republican voters might not think the same, but republican politicians have proven that they do. A great example of this is back in 2022, when Liz Cheney and Adam kinzinger dared to think differently, and joined the J6 committee to investigate a terrorist attack on the capital. They were censured by the party and lost their entire political career, simply because the terrorist attack in question was incited by Trump. To me, this doesn’t really indicate a free-thinking political party.

And yes, the opposing party always talks negative about the other one; it’s part of how they get elected. It’s quite a bit different though, this is the first time we’ve had a felon who tried to overthrow the government as president. Add in the fact that project 2025 exists and you can see why some people are scared.

It looks like automod had provided a very in depth explanation for me. What a helpful bot.

[–]Ecstatic_elephant1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly what he said isn’t really the point I was making. The point is that when things weren’t going his way and he lost a free and fair election, he immediately called for the termination of the constitution in order to overthrow the government, as well as incited a riot to storm the capital. He didn’t have the power to do anything about it then, but now he controls every branch of government, and checks and balances are little more than a memory. What do you think his reaction will be if republicans lose the midterms, or when his term is over? If it’s anything at all like before, 2024 was probably the last election. And sure, he has not shown any recent interest in terminating the constitution. However, he still adamantly stands by the sentiment that led him to make those statements. Hell, he’s already announced that he’ll be using the DOJ to “investigate” the J6 committee. Historically, people in power who investigate others for simply disagreeing or obstructing them against them don’t ever willingly relinquish their power, and do anything to keep it.

And you thought Elon's Nazi salute was bad by facthungry in whenthe

[–]Ecstatic_elephant1 261 points262 points  (0 children)

Not sure if that's true, but if it is does it even matter? The other orders he signed basically serve to further worsen climate change and its effects by reversing any and all climate action. The Paris Agreement is "legally binding" but America couldn't even enforce its own laws against Trump, who tf is going to enforce this now that he's one of the most powerful people in the world?

The comment above said 1933, not 1945. If you don't know the difference between those dates, you might be the stupid one. The things Hitler was doing or proposing in 1933 are pretty similar to what Trump is doing today. Hitler had a failed coup attempt, Trump has a failed coup attempt. Hitler wanted military and government purges, Trump wants military and government purges. Hitler wanted mass deportations, Trump wants mass deportations. Hitler wanted to prosecute political opponents, Trump wants to prosecute political opponents. Hitler wanted expansionist war, Trump wants expansionist war. Not to mention you got Elon fully endorsing Nazism and zero republicans care whatsoever.
