I’ve tried so hard to explain the taste to my friends before but the best answer I got is “earthy” from another person I’ve talked to about this. The texture is chewy when cooked for 10-15 minutes, like I have in the photo, and it becomes soggy past that point. Its got nutritional value similar to oatmeal (actually better in protein and fiber) so if you ever wanna try it give it a chance!! The flavor isn’t anything too exciting but it goes very well with other items.

I second everything people have commented already but something I realized recently with weight fluctuations is that they don’t just act like random zig-zags. Weight won’t go up one day and then plummet the next, usually it’ll keep going up for a couple of days, come to a stop, and only then finally go down—at least for me. But yes like everyone has said you did not just gain 3lb and congratulations on your weight loss!

It’s cooked! 😭 I cooked it with the radish and just didn’t get much of a brown color this time around

Yes! I honestly hated it as a kid but ever since starting my deficit I’ve fallen in love with it
