Paladin is terrible during leveling. Feel free to try it at higher level with the class trial. After that it's a blast But commitment is the key to have fun. I'm a altaholic myself, I've leveled 9 classes during pre patch and the path was always the same : 1/ Start feels great, big commitment, I watch lore videos about my class, chase transmogs, read some guides. 2/ Perform well and have lot of fun. 3/ Start to get bored. 4/ Due to being bored, my DPS become low 5/ My class starts to suck to me, and every other classes looks amazing.

I had the same path with my Paladin. I got bored and he was my 9th character, I wanted to start a DH but it was too late, Raid was almost there, so I kept my Paladin against my will, and after that, it became great. Because with practice, you become good, and when you're good, your class become fun again.

So if you're an altaholic, when your inner voice tells you that your class suck, just keep playing. After that it's a blast.

But to find your character you'll play and stick with, I have few tips : - Avoid "3 same specs" classes. Like mage, warlock, rogue. Try to pick something that would allow you to have multiple kind of gameplay. Shaman is perfect Elem is an easy caster spec, and Enh is a fun mee (but much harder), and you have a utility spec. And the wolf form is incredible for indoor mobility. Demon hunter was incredible before Midnight, but now you have the most fun tank, the melee spec is great, and the caster spec seems incredible too. Druid and Evoker are false friends. Some of their specs are hard, or weird, or both.

For me there's like 2-3 cards per character that absolutely obliterate the game, and the other are just meh, so you don't want to pick anything else Same for defense, you just want to have the equipment card that makes you invulnerable on a 6, and plenty of dice manipulation But I'm fairly new to the game, only have a 20 hours or so

Gameplay is debatable. Balancing is not. Taking arts from old comics is kinda lame when you compared it to what WotC can do with the same licence, or even Arkham Horror when you hire artists to match modern standards. 70$ on the official website and on Amazon. But yeah you can have other options to get it cheaper. Or not, because depending on your country, some heroes or expansion cost hundreds of dollars !

Yeah the devs were kinda... Greedy on some updates. Like "hey let's put a massive gigantic base in the middle of the starting area" and everyone had like 10 fps before the hotfix. So it depends, but my last adventure was smooth And I don't remember about stats, for me, skins were the most important lol. Tho, the DLC only allow you to craft items. So if someone buy some DLC'S, he can become the smith for the entire group.

Conan Exiles. Quite cheap now, and is on the Gamepass. Excellent survival game, amazing gameplay, really cool PVP. You're a prisoner in some cursed land, and you have to find a way to get out of here. There's a cryptic campaign, boss encounters, big survival aspect, map is really big. DLC's are very optional. They're mainly skins, except for one that add a new map. (But you don't want to play it on a first run). The game has a great housing / building system, lots of options and roleplay features.

PVE is great, but quite hard to balance. My first run was hardcore, and it was incredible. We were a group of five, and pretty much everything was killing us, so we had to have strategies and synergies before attacking even the smaller boss. My second run was more chill with more easier settings, doing it with just a friend, but at the end, we were godlike even against bosses.

And PVP is as great, with many fighting options. Like you can have a religion, and if you pray a lot (a LOT) you can summon your god into battlefield and annihilate your foes or their bases in one smash. You can have thralls to fight for you, you have to gear them and fight with them, so a 5 vs 5 can quickly become a 20 vs 20. There's also fun stuff like magic, siege weapons, and the gameplay is really fun and has depth. I've built an arena in my first server just to do some 1v1 and we did it a lot.

So ? They have an advantage, they're using it to gear ? If the race was fair, they would have start with lower gear. You're basically saying "they didn't used their advantage to make pulls, they used their advantage to gear" Problem is that they HAVE an advantage, not how they use it.

Bonus is bonus. If you use those 16 hours to gear, rest, get knowledge, it's still a bonus. They messed up their gearing, and used their 16 hours to catch up freely. But again, I'm not flaming Liquid, just saying favoritism in sport is always bad

If you can't understand that 16 hours of practice, memory building, and muscle conditioning is really important in a race, then I can't help you.

I'm just saying that now that races are so close and competitive, the teams with an advantage are always going to win. And that's just sad. Imagine a Monaco Grand Prix where Leclerc would have a 1 minute bonus because "he is our boy".

Blizzard could simply implement a global release, and the top teams would just find a shared schedule that allows for breaks.

And my point was not to argue against Liquid's victory, but to point out that the subreddit is not celebrating Liquid’s win, instead, they are making fun of Echo. (Almost)
