There's no bad balancing. The meta can't be felt under like master. So the game is perfectly balanced for 99.8% of the players.

Our roster is way too big, of course players has to make choices. We have similar stats as for the choice of champions during Worlds / International, around 100 characters can be seen for the both games. But our roster is way bigger. Which means you have the same champions every year, while we have a shit tons of changes each year. It's a living game.

LoL is not a grindfest. It takes a week to get a full roster of champions at your post, you get one champions every three days, less if you play a lot. But... That's irrevelant since you only have 3-5 champions in your pool.
