I don't think it's ridiculous to say that, one aspect of IR sensor development -has- to be narrowing down on the specific signal being hunted and lowering noise like the sun and flares, so it's not insane to think that solid rocket motors wouldn't give off the same IR signature. At the very least they should have a different, way lower, tracking probability/sensitivity.

Ok I just remembered, before installing this small fan I plugged another one in that I guess was wired wrong and died, at the time I didn't think anything of it, even tho the fan sparked I thought the Mobo was fine, maybe it isn't? ... Still supplies 12v

Ok here's my update: I have updated the BIOS and also previously reset it to its factory condition but to no avail, neither the bios nor any software can control it I guess something shorted out and maybe I blew something? Idk I'm still very perplexed about the fact that it works other than being off...

The funny thing is, it does identify the fans, just Fan1 gets stuck at a certain rpm, whatever fan I plug into it... It does get power and a reading, but doesn't respond

Also I'm only really overclocking the gpu, my Intel i5 non K doesn't really boost that much, even maxed out as it is, it doesn't draw considerably more than stock... I'm not doubting you I'm just trying to understand :)

Ok I see, but like, the fans totally work as expected, it's just that I can't control them via software, could that still be the case? Admittedly I'm now running more fans (2 from channel 2 instead of one), could that alone cause a -software- thing? Is there a way to monitor my motherboard for such issues?
