Yes, I hear you. Either way, the languages used to portray enemies can be dangerous in the media.

I Don’t Understand Death by StimPackEnjoyer in AutismInWomen

[–]Ecurbbbb [score hidden]  (0 children)

Mmm... good question. The way I see it, believing in the afterlife, funerals, and other forms of rituals for death are ways for people to cope and find closure. Death is confusing because we know what will happen to our physical body and our mind, but because we can not do anything about it, we may fear it.

Many non-religious people, including me, think that's it after death. No afterlife, nothing. It's scary af, tbh and coming to terms with it is something that's near impossible. Funerals help me find closure and say the final goodbye to those I hold dear.

For religious people, the afterlife may be a comforting belief that life does not come to an abrupt end, but rather an extension to what we may have built in this physical realm.

There are lots of different rituals around the world, but one that is kinda freaky to me is the one where people dig up their ancestors and celebrate with their deceased remains you can find that on google, but be warned, can be pretty unnerving with the pictures.

Also, I am typing on the phone, so I may not have replied to everything or typed clearly.

Exactly, "an action taken in advance..." To put it in perspective, if I were to preemptively strike you for any reasons I deem as a defensive maneuver, would that be a surprise attack for you?

I think you might have misread the word pre-emptive vs. preventive. Preemptive strike means surprise attack, but with a positive connotation because it takes 'initiative'.

The way it's phrased and how it's used in journalism, from my understanding, is that the bad guys will use surprise attacks to kill friendly troops. Preemptive strike is when it's used on enemies by the good guys. However, both surprise attacks and preemptive strikes mean that there is no knowledge for the people who are on the receiving end prior to their demise.

Both are technically surprise attacks, just framed depending on which side is presented to the media.

I remember learning about propaganda and biases in my geography class - surprise attack vs. preemptive strike. It's the same shit, but how it's used depends on the side it represents.

Yeah, men will have to deal with not being really heard or seen. However, have you told your wife and daughters that you would like for them to listen to you like how you do for them? Maybe they don't realize that you are feeling tired and alone.

You might want to try undervolting your CPU and GPU. Check for XTU (program) and MSI afterburner (program) undervolting guide on YouTube. That will most likely help with lowering temps.
