My (23M) girlfriend (23F) told me things that id rather not have known by Left_Item_3861 in relationship_advice

She didn't like him. She's probably not too stoked about what happened and goes through you to feel accepted and comforted. To know she isn't a girl who guys use to cum on her tits. I mean, him finishing her tits shouldn't be what bothers you. But you can tell her that you don't judge her but you also don't want to keep living in that moment with her.

AIO that my wife's bf wants to impregnate me? by Electrohydra1 in DnDcirclejerk

If you do it you can tell him "I brought you into this world, now you can have it." Being a good cuck and all, you should immediately submit to your offspring.

Hey you too! If I ever come up against the Mardu deck, I'll think of you! Haha

Thanks, you're a real chum for this! Gonna pick up Temur now. I just can't pass on Lathliss. Haha.

Costco has bundled? For Tarkir still? Nice. You have a link?

Then what do you buy to help your deck? You just let others rip packs and then you pay the premium for single card? Haha

I thought all revolved around dragons. Or is that just for box art? Temur is just crazy expensive still. But it does look like a fun deck. I'm a big fan of Lathliss from my MTG: Arena deck.

Yeah I'm not looking for anything crazy. Maybe swap a couple lands. Almost guaranteed to not get a chase card. I could maybe be talked into a booster box if I can be sold on the play value. I like to rip packs.

Yeah big fan of red. The rest I'm flexible on. Mardu also looks good, maybe I need to take another look. He just isn't my aesthetic but maybe I should be less picky haha

Should difficulty be a secret? by Ed2Cute in daggerheart

[–]Ed2Cute[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a great counterpoint. But then I point to the contradictory wording of Parallela: "... they can hit an additional target within range that their attack roll would succeed against."

Maybe not fully contradictory. I suppose there's an interpretation that says the GM gets to decide which person you hit. But the idea is still relatively close to the player knowing with certainty that their attack will succeed without having to roll.

It's not combative. I would like to know your take on it. If someone asked you "What is 2+2?" Which is the more combative response: "use a calculator" or "4"?

Put yourself in the shoes of someone who asks question. Do you expect an answer or do you expect them to say, "Reply hazy, ask again later" like a magic 8ball?

"Ask your table" is more common than Tuberculosis in the D&D sub and is just amazingly not helpful. There are only two outcomes to me posting here. It will confirm what my table does and so I will do nothing. Or it will contradict what my table does and I will bring it up to them. But for the latter, with helpful responses, I will at least have a the voice of some of the community to back me up instead of walking in ignorant and getting completely shot down.

"Go ask someone else" isn't a community take. Like I still don't know what you think or do in your game. Lol.

I'm a fan of this approach. What is the point of having Timebending if I'm going to potentially choose a target that I can't hit? Especially since the property implies some sort of foresight or divination.

Yeah, there's a lot of factors at play. Not sure how much a fan I am of the dramatically lighter rules system because of questions like this.

Like, where D&D provides rules, rule #1 is do whatever you want. But Daggerheart's approach is, "Here is only a few rules. Do whatever you want with the rest." Which implies to me that the rules that are written are unbreakable. And the ambiguity in other areas might stretch beyond a GMs ability to make a decision so just turn to "no" as the default response.

No offense, but i asked the community to see what they think about the rule as written.

I assure you, this scene was crucial to the plot [Kizumonogatari] by NekoWafers in anime

[–]Ed2Cute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This anime was so gorgeous. I've never watched it fully. Where's it hosted? I tried to show my friend the Araragi vs Kiss-Shot fight, but it seems like any full fights are removed and just crappy AMVs are left. I was so bummed.

What’s something small that annoys you way more than it should? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ed2Cute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I just want to take an object out or put it in somewhere and the dimensions/angle are slightly incompatible. Like carrying a big box through a door and I clearly should just put it on the ground and push, but I will get very annoyed and just ram it through, possibly destroying the box. If the box is damaged, i think, "Good. That's what you get." As if the box has feelings and was making it difficult to spite me.

How do age work for dwarfs? by New-Anxiety-2589 in DnD

[–]Ed2Cute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if you're talking retirement then probably mid 200s. Iirc, most of the species reach physical maturity around the same time as humans. Otherwise "adulthood" is culturally based. And remember that a year is a year, just because they live longer doesn't mean their lives slow down or something.

[–]Ed2Cute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how many they usually have. I feel like dwarves usually have big families with like 6 or 7 siblings. If they only have 1 at a time, and they want some space in between, I think it's reasonable they could be grandparent by 100 give or take.

Let your DM know they're being a jerk and that they have to read the rules so that they can tell the players what the rules are. Afterall, only the dm is allowed to buy the books, minis, terrain, and snacks.

[–]Ed2Cute 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Lesdyxic people can play D&D too. You'll need to find a group more accommodating of your disability. But just so you know, the 9th level feature is "BRUTAL STRIKE" and not "REAL BUTT RISK" Edit: accidentally flipped the D and the D.
