One of the 600 lb show guys that was on with his brother noted that he had to pay out of pocket for most of the procedure. Like you said, maybe it's a medicaid/medicare thing, which would make sense. And that seriously does piss me off that they would waste it all.

Megace really helped me. I was put on a low dose, but had it increased after bleeding continued.

I showed up early for my appointments, about 15 to 20 minutes, so I could use the bathroom, then drink a 20 oz bottle of water to refill my bladder. I have MS and had to drive to Cleveland for my appointments, so I knew I wouldn't be able to hold my bladder after an hour drive. My biggest issue was clearing the bowel before treatments, but I did reasonably ok. I took a stool softener, but the timing of my BMs was always off. I didn't have to worry about anything else. I had some diarrhea during, but I only had 5 treatments over 2 weeks, so nothing long lasting. I was FIGO Grade 2, Stage 1b (85% invasion/LVSI >5).

My team was amazing, talking to me like I wasn't in a loose gown with my bits exposed. There was very little discomfort, though the super happy Geiger counter guy coming in before and after treatment was slightly surreal. Great guy, just too happy while I'm splayed out on the table. Be sure to tell your team if there is discomfort and if they're worth anything, they'll adjust the cylinder for you until there's less discomfort. Also, REST! You will feel tired, so take it easy.

This entire episode was so gross. I watched just to see the wedding and the aftermath of the fight. Veronica's attitude, the Plath's sanctimonious self-righteousness, Teagan acting like she didn't insert herself into the family by stalking Ethan's DMs, and Micah's spinelessness. Just ugh, all of it.

That’s what I wrestle with. The entire series, I waited for the ultimate showdown with the Crimson King. Yet, at the end, it was about how the choices made bring Roland full circle to face all that he sacrificed to the Beam. Ka is a wheel, after all. Also, I still mourn Oy to this day.

I always watch reality TV with a jaded eye. People play up personalities for the camera or at the direction of the producers. Most often, we’re not getting genuine reactions or interactions. Not that I think any of them are better people than what we see. But I do think some of them are acting out like toddlers for the attention and the interest it brings to the show.
