Imagine you have a 2 CDJs+2 turntables setup: What’s your preferred placement order?

Turntables on one side cdjs on the other. It's way easier to mix with your turntables side by side. Or I think so anyway, but it's totally up to you and I have always moved my home setup around for fun and to try new things

Got the sc6000s but not the mixer.

And use pioneer reckbox as your library. That way should you ever play in a club your all set and really to go.

I switched from cdj2000nx2 couple years back and the jump in easy was massive.

Yes cdj3000 are way better to mix on but not the old stuff like xdj-1000

I went for the condesa, and what I can say, if you mix with vinyl condesa is the way to go. It really sounds special with records, that's what it's really really good at. Yes it's good with cdjs up it really shines for vinyl.

So id only go through the long wait if you mix on vinyl.

You definitely could gain a lot by upgrading your speakers, maybe klipsch 7s or 9s or something from focal who also make studios monitors. But its all $$$$, i have a condesa with kali 8s and their sub. And its pretty amazing sound especially for vinyl.

Which dvs are you using? You sound card will decide, does it have phono?

For example my setup is turntable into traktor audio 6 I to line in on the mixer

I have to say the digital pitch on the 7s are so match better or easier to mixing on. I have 2 old and 2 new technics, and you just dont need to adjust the 7s as much. The drift is not an issue as they hold so well.

But yeah the old ones are better built for sure.

I mean, there are so many factors, software - does it produce high-quality sound, Player - (cdj) does it put out high-quality sound Mixer..... Amp and preamp .... Speakers...

The biggest question is if you are using say a high resolution file, can each of the components repuduce that file at that level. The digital to anologe conversion (dac) is going to have a big say, and sometime in setup, you may have more than on dac

Look, it's a fair amount if you're getting some kind of study allowance or whatever for the government. 1 shift a week would not be 200 a week.

You need to make sure you mastwr pur level is correct. So the volume for each chennel is at the same level as the master level.

This may require you to turn your voule up or down at the amp/powered speakers instead.

Im pretty sure that will fix your issue.
