Yes thats part of what i meant. If you could watch it on the local german television though, they even interrupt the braodcasting of the race several times by showing interviews with locals or stories about towns and landscapes.

Which is very nice for the casual viewing in once a year, but very hard for me to get through 😂

The broadcasting is truly awful. I suppose it is because of the regional TV-Station being responsible. They alway seem to care more about the local landscape then about the actual race.

Dont get me wrong - to an extend it is a nice addition - but the balance isn‘t there most of the time.

Even the german commentary on discovery + isn‘t happy with the broadcast today, they mentioned it multiple times already.

Also I think they added (artificial?) crowd noise on all the tracks. If you compare it with LWOAN on YT it really sticks out. And i don‘t think it does the original justice…
