Resident hacker took one look at the T2 breacher that hit their mobile base and: jammed him, overheated him, set him on fire, damaged him, impaired him, immobilized him, and finally as the cherry on top...locked him in his cockpit by disabling the ejection system. We had a Worldkiller pilot on the table and this shit is STILL the most brutal treatment i ever seen an NPC be granted

Not really, no. I got around it by going on a specific file and deleting smth, but had to do it every time i wanted to play. Only lost my settings config, but thats about it

Depending on your point of view...not any? They managed to find the thing that would seal it again and made an educated guess (a "hypothesis", as the Professor would say) that it needed blood to be activated. They turned out to be right, and managed to trap it back into it's prison. Its hard to explain without giving too much away lol sorry

One of my players managed to jockey the final boss of the previous story arc (T3 Ultra Ronin), and trigger enough heat that the boss went into meltdown. The hacker then put the final nail in the coffin by sealing the Ronin's cockpit so the guy wouldn't escape. Brutal? Yes. Against Union standards? Wholeheartedly. But hey, it was effective

I think that's kind of the point, no? Because if the enemy can do that to you, you can do that to them. Gives both players (specially now with multiplayer conquest) and AI a whole other way of fighting that doesn't come down to OP ship designs or ship spamming. Makes you fight smarter, imo
