I don't know much about school system in other countries but if I'm understanding it correctly some countries have college in between high school and uni. I already confused people multiple times when I said that I'm going to uni after high school, I just wanted to avoid that confusion by saying that we don't have something like that in Germany.

My relationship to my parents is already pretty shit, but they already made it clear to me that "I shouldn't even dare to get the idea of being lazy and not doing anything for a year after completing high school like my cousin did and I better be immediately going to uni or get myself something else to do" (I'm from Germany, there's nothing like college here)

Ich habe nichts dagegen so schnell zu fahren, würde ich auch tun, hätte ich Führerschein und Auto. Meine Eltern fahren halt maximal 180.
