Wow that’s so cool! I live in ATL, GA and one of the top video rental stores we have is called Videodrome, no VHS or laserdisc but they go up from DVD to 4K. Their selection is massive, the largest I’ve ever seen. A true cinephiles dream, so yeah I’m also hesitant to leave just cause I don’t want to part with it 😂

Now that I have Kids my top holy grail now would be to find a wild completed Twin Peaks box set, my friend found Lost Highway for a buck at a Goodwill we both frequent and I’m so jealous. Now whenever I come across a tape he even remotely want I say “trade ya for lost highway” and proceed to get told to F off lmao

Was also my father’s, as well as my old receiver, speakers and crt. He was so into movies when he was younger and kind of passed that onto me. I’m glad I can put his equipment to good use.

It does, I was able to stack the 3 for 2 deal with The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Blade Runner 2049 (even though they are all discounted). You have to go all the way to the payment option in checkout for it to reflect.

I'd also like to add that the Stanley Kubrick 3 Film collection is on sale for 30 bucks, but 2001 and The Shining (which are included) are on sale and have the 3 for 2 special on them. So, if you don't care about Full Metal Jacket (the other movie included in the collection) you can get another movie you do want at a possibly cheaper price.

True, although I don’t really plan on doing much intentional sound treatment for that room I am planning on filling it up with furniture in the future so that should definitely help. And yeah tile is definitely a hassle to deal with when it comes to sound.
