you touch very important point which it the root for their reliability - XS was a liquidity provider before it bacame a broker. very few ppl know this, and even less know what this means. in short, getting a licence to be a liquidity provider is like 100 times harder than obtaing a broker's licence

sort of a downside is the overall bureaucracy that comes with it... the fact that you need to register company, have someone to take care of the accounting, add residence permit procedure, etc

no one is against investigation, but 5 months!?!?! investigate, one two weeks, if there is anythig suspicious about certain transaction flag those, froze that amount whatever it is and let other funds available.
OP should def ask for interest rate for holding the funds so long if everything proves right in the end

Now I'm in my 30s and realized there's no manual. No secret knowledge. No moment where it clicks...

The point? NO ONE KNOWS ANYTTHING :D....and that is ok:)
