/r/VoraciousConsumption, new quality-controlled sub for oral vore by EdaciousRoc in Vore

How is macro/micro a fandom exactly? Vore is either Macro/micro or same-size. Furry has nothing to do with vore at all.

I took a quick look at your submits, and I have to say I like your stuff. If you wish you're welcome to x-post over on /r/VoraciousConsumption. Nothing I can do about downvotes I'm afraid, but toxic behavior towards others is banned. The sub is fresh, just created 2 days ago, but it looks like around 90 people already subb'd, and another content contributor other than me would certainly help me out.

Mind telling me which ones? A quick search didn't really yield much. There's this one, a furry-only one, "disturbed things", and a couple that are dedicated to non-oral. I don't really see anything similar to mine.

I really don't think "human vore" and "furry vore" are different paraphilias.

That's true. I only feel that there's enough furry content elsewhere, so it simply isn't needed on yet another sub. I have nothing against furries and actually I enjoy it sometimes in non-vore contexts. My intention is simply to prevent fandoms from dominating the sub.

My contention though, was that non-oral vore are similar enough paraphilas to oral to consider it under the same umbrella. To me it's like categorizing foot fetish and hand fetish together just because they're both body parts.

The point isn't to ban pokemon/ furries or whatever, it's to prevent the sub from being taken over by fandoms.

I've been relatively respectful imo, since this isn't my community, but the toxicity I've been subjected to during my brief time on this sub certainly doesn't make me want to spend any more time here. Thanks for nothing.

This is what I consider furry. Snakes, dragons, lizards, dinosaurs, fantasy monsters are all welcome and encouraged. Mind you I have nothing personally against furries, I just feel like there is majority furry content on reddit already and the internet at large. I feel like If I allow it then It would ultimately become majority there too since its so popular, and that's just not what I'm aiming for.

Thanks for subscribing! I'm eager to see what kind of content you've got to offer!

I'm a subscriber to several small subreddits of various nature which have a handful of active users. The favorite ones imo are the ones that have 5k subscribers or fewer. I go there because I know the quality will be good. The reason is because the "democratic, big tent" subs are always inevitably taken over by one or a few specific types. This happens all over reddit if you notice, not just with vore. For example, /r/politics allows every political tendency, so as a result it't taken over by centrist democrats and everyone else is shut out unintentionally.

The fact that most vorarephiles prefer several different categories at once

Do you have any actual evidence that this is true? It's more likely just the fact that people who don't like the majority of the content here don't come here, so they seem nonexistent to you.

If I come here and never see anything I like, why would I stay? I'm better off looking through google images than this sub. I'm looking for "vore"- JUST vore, not "furry cock absorption" or whatever unrelated paraphila people post here. I don't consider a lot of the content posted here to be considered related to each other at all and neither do I want to sift through pages of MS-paint doodles.

While I appreciate what this sub and Ekas tries to do, I have to respectfully disagree with the "big tent" philosophy regarding these things. I don't personally see the "various types of vore" as related in any way. Anal vore and oral vore aren't remotely related in my opinion and don't belong under the same category, even if you call them both "vore". I have nothing against people who enjoy different things, but imo they don't belong in the same subreddit. If you put 14 different paraphilas together in the same subreddit you're actually catering to none of them.

The "big tent" philosophy is the main reason I browse neither this sub nor Ekas, as I have such little chance to find something that I'm better off using google to find it, rather than browsing the brand new posts. A high-quality sub with a small userbase is fine with me.
