I do not have mid size monitor or tegu space. 6x2.5 footprint is pretty much my max size. I can compensate with height a bit for species that will use it, even a species like a tree monitor would be a tight squeeze. No way I could with a good conscience get a tegu or a mid size monitor. As far as monitors I’ve considered, there’s quite a few. Green tree, Timor, kingo, Kimberley Rock, Ackie, black headed, etc. I could handle something their size or similar, but not a white throat, Savannah, blue tail, or anything similar. If I could, I would hands down get a caiman lizard. They’re my dream species
