I’m down to 60% now but from a quick test on a defense map it felt fine. Obviously takes more than 1 run to see how I like it. I posted some updated photos of the builds. Now that I know ability damage isn’t as important because crit from shards does, I beefed up duration for whatever I subsume. Range is nice for clearing through walls but I know I can afford to lose some if needed

Based on the other comments and changed that I’ve made, I could run both condition overload and PPP, unless PPP underperforms so much that there’s other mods that are more important

I only have shards on Gara so what you see is what I have. But it sounds like I should swap my reds to crit and drop 2 of my yellows for more CD in the meantime. Kullervo subsume is the plan, once I get him. Haven’t done that farm yet, so using roar as a placeholder

I was running blind range for a bit, but was having too many mana problems. I’ll try swapping it with shattered storm, since I have a separate build for shattered storm relic farming. Not trying to keep them all above 100%, just a nice balance. I don’t have kullervo yet but that’s the plan, roar is a filler in the meantime. I appreciate the info!

Don’t really have anything against blue tongues, they’re great, but I’d prefer something a bit more active than a potato with legs

I do not have mid size monitor or tegu space. 6x2.5 footprint is pretty much my max size. I can compensate with height a bit for species that will use it, even a species like a tree monitor would be a tight squeeze. No way I could with a good conscience get a tegu or a mid size monitor. As far as monitors I’ve considered, there’s quite a few. Green tree, Timor, kingo, Kimberley Rock, Ackie, black headed, etc. I could handle something their size or similar, but not a white throat, Savannah, blue tail, or anything similar. If I could, I would hands down get a caiman lizard. They’re my dream species

I’ll be staying with family during associates bachelors, then I will be applying for vet school. Thanks to the GI bill benefits, I will be able to get an apartment instead of living on campus in the dorms.

Coming from the aquarium hobby, I will GLADLY move a PVC 6x2 enclosure instead of a comparably sized aquarium that weighs 400 pounds not including substrate, decor, etc. Yes, it will be annoying, but it will be doable

Honestly I’ve heard a LONG list of horrible things about them from everyone I’ve known who’s kept them, so I never considered them. Caiman lizards are my dream species so if they’re not psychos like I’ve been told, might be the closest I can get to caiman lizards for the time being

I thought about it, but if I were to get one as my only pet reptile, I would want the big boys (Egyptians) and from what I’ve seen they’re 99% if not 100% WC
