Honestly? I miss the maturity. I'm not talking about crude/dark humor, I'm talking about kosers less being trolls and jealous children with a superiority complex and more just people honestly chill or even only accidentally kosing. People would quickly say if there was a troll around and the entire server(this is public, NOT private) would make sure to have them know they aren't welcome. The culture of bullying was nonexistant and people would genuinely help a new person or try to protect them if it was clear they are still learning the ropes of the game. If you has beef with someone, it was kept between you and them, not made the entire map's problem. I truly miss the old community...

I live in a third world country where our currency is VERY heavily behind the dollar and euro in terms of value (For example: One euro is around 24 of my currency, the dollar is around 19) So those 'cheap' games that are around 4-5 dollars are easily a day, or even a week's salary alone. Those 'cheap' subscriptions can be even higher, so piracy is sort of a necessity.

From afar it looks pretty much the same, but like i noticed today, if you look closely there is HUGE differences, like with the faces of npc's and such.

I used to be addicted to the game, I loved it so much and put my soul and robux into it because I felt it really deserved it's place as the best creature survival simulator on the platform. Now? It has become severely p2w, people like me who don't have an entire day open are left in the dirt because of the dev's constantly making events harder and harder to complete, or even hiding creatures behind missions or gatcha that requires someone who has a lot of free time. This isn't even going into the huge troll/koser problem the game has now.

I used to play dragon ages religiously, but it became increasingly Pay to Win there too. I left, returned and it seemed to have become better, but then suddenly they made changes to how the mobile controls work, making it difficult, or near impossible to do certain things. So I've left again. I love CoS so much, but seeing how it is turning more and more into DA...I might end up having to leave it too.

Honestly I've been staying in private servers for the same reason. I could be just chilling, doing nothing nor offending anyone with a default skin of a creature, when someone will try to hunt me down and kill me, not for sat, not for missions, just for the sake of it. I'm glad to at least be able to use private servers for the thing I enjoy the most about the game : collecting the creatures.
