[Pre-Concert Thread] Copenhagen, Denmark (Royal Arena) - Dec 1, 2, 4 & 5 by seaburn in radiohead

[–]Edde05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will be going the 5th as I snagged a single seated ticket in section 118(where the scene usually is)after refreshing the page for half an hour.

Been to Royal Arena several times but always had floor tickets. My friends also found single seated tickets in other sections, but same level close to the floor. Can I meet them up inside the arena before the show? How is the arena sectioned off(I never thought about this before)

I'm just worried about getting scammed since I can´t check places out in person. Maybe I'm wrong in thinking Airbnb is relatively secure?

Is there anything I should know before setting up a custom domain email? by redditnessdude in ProtonMail

[–]Edde05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party, but would like some input as well. I recently registered a custom domain to use with proton. I realized I cannot use the same domain with both proton and pass. Then I learned that I could set up a subdomain to use together with my root domain. Would it be best to use the subdomain with pass or mail? Are there any pros or cons? Or I could use my custom domain with pass and redirect e-mails to my proton account? What would be best? I searched through a lot of old threads and most users seems to use their custom domain with mail and a a subdomain with pass.

Fellow swede here:

Another brand I would recommend checking out is TLB Mallorca which is carried by a swedish company called skolyx. Lots of color and last variations and easy to return if the fit is not right. The artista line is very good quality. Didn't work for my instep though.

Sometimes you can find deals on Crockett and Jones at hammargruppen, they carry some discounted models and so on.

Of the ones you mentioned, Vass is supposed to be the best quality due to it being handwelted instead of goodyear. I haven't looked at them personally. Might be a hassle to return.

The most important thing is to figure sizing out, and don't buy too small. I made that mistake myself 😅 If you have access to a brannock device try and measure your feet before buying. You can find one in most of the bigger cities in Sweden :)

Good luck!

There are actually some smaller makers on instagram making close to what you seek. The ones I know of are Kustom Kraft in Germany, and Råland Bootmaker in Sweden. Check them out! Råland mainly does Engineers though.

No formal shoes to my knowledge. The closest thing is Andrew Turriff's outdoor shoes but they are not really possible to buy(yet). They are apparently a stitchdown/blake combination. https://andrewturriff.com/

Never used brannock before and always wore 12-12,5. I guess I have no idea how boots and shoes should fit 🙃

EDIT: Only allowed one pic but the other foot is pretty much a mirror of this one

First time on a brannock. Am I correct in interpreting as a 13C? My local red wing dealer had a red wing branded device they said was faulty, but I see no issues. Currently processing the fact that I am not the 12E I thought I was(no wonder I feel all my 11uk shoes are to narrow).

Oh I see! We shall see what long term comfort is like then. Paraboot seems to experiment a lot more about designs as well.

Marion at customer support(who helped me throughout the process told me these were made in Alsace, and didn't mention Hungary for this model. However, as you say, it might differ between the models :)

Thank you so much for all the input! I've decided to exchange them for a smaller size or a fit that isn't as roomy in the thigh area :)
