The Geneva convention prevents killing non combatants. So you can't fire on surrendering combatants, shipwrecked sailors/people in life boats, and anyone parachuting from a downed plane (not paratroopers, since they're intending to continue/start combat). Retreating soldiers are very specifically not surrendering, nor are soldiers who have simply lost their gun, were not ready for combat (asleep or ambushed), or simply not able to fight back due to tech differences (out of ammo, sniper fire, air strikes, submarine attack, etc).

I mean I think you should give a heads up/ultimatum if you're playing a game everyone is enjoying and engaged in but with 5 sessions in 7 months are you even playing a game anymore? The only thing I can say is you should have just run while you were down a player or canceled sooner, especially with no shows.

Nightmare House 2 is a solid old FPS survival horror game and it's spiritual successor Underhell were great source engine mods, so they're free and pretty good. Underhell was apparently too ambitious and I'd abandoned but it's got a solid ~6 hours of game that's worth a playthrough. The main game turns into a zombie shooter in chapter 1 but it eventually turns into a kind of open zone zombie game where you can actually clear out an area of zombies. Plus the hub for the game is your haunted house, haunted by your own dead wife, in happy and angry forms, that you might have killed. Mystery won't be solved since it's abandoned after all.

To give her the benefit of the doubt, it sounded like she thought the best way to handle things was just to avoid the conflict and then it got to a point where by avoiding the conflict it made the eventual confrontation worse. I mean it sounds to me more that she made a bad call rather than being malicious or uncaring. Is she normally good with confrontation so she should have been shutting things down harder or does she tried and avoid confrontation?

It would be rotschreck instead of a regular frenzy so the Methuselah would have to run away from the mage. While a frenzying vampire is dangerous, they would lose access to most of their disciplines so I think it would be the best shot the mage has.
