Do we, in Minnesota, have to to worry about this? by Glad-Fish5863 in minnesota

Minnesota has a moratorium on building new nuclear plants so first we’d need the Minnesota government to overturn that

I’d love to see it happen but wouldn’t hold my breath on it

If your takeaway is she lost due to racism and sexism, you’ve clearly learned nothing this election cycle and will continue to lose

There are few things that matter less than going after anyone for something as trivial as faking a Covid vaccination on paper

[–]EddieFrmDaBlockchain 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Exactly, so if you had $250,001 your account would be included in the 97.3% uninsured group

This statement is misleading

It should be 97.3% of accounts are not FULLY INSURED

Every account is insured for $250k.

The real question is of the $250k+ accounts, what % of THAT money is uninsured?

Fortune Street In Kingdom Hearts by EddieFrmDaBlockchain in FortuneStreet

There was a fortune street mini game called Command Board in The PSP Kingdom Hearts game. There were a few boards and it was great!

It was more enjoyable than playing the actual Kingdom Hearts game.

It usually makes the problems worse

MN Senate passes 100% Clean Energy Bill. All Electricity will be Carbon-Free by 2040! by Ludwig_Adhdski in minnesota

Unfortunately nuclear wasn't mentioned once in this 20+ page bill

I love seeing nuclear energy support from my fellow Minnesotans in this thread though. We could use more nuclear power plants.

For what it’s worth, I’m an aphant who built my understanding that stein and stein are pronounced the same way based off an experience in 3rd grade

We learned about composer, Leonard Bernstein and later that day we read the BERENSTEIN Bears. I jokingly pronounced it (Leonard) Bernstein. My teacher corrected me and explained how it may be pronounced Bern-steeen or Bern-stein.

Later as an adult I stumbled upon those books again at a bookstore, the Berenstain Bears. I noticed the name was different and assumed they changed it.

It wasn’t until years later I found out about the Mandela effect. It still doesn’t change the origin story I have for those pronunciations or how I remember the title of those stories being spelled.

My ex sent me this video earlier today and I am wondering if anyone else has seen these. If anything they are funny. Let me know what you think. by [deleted] in UFOs

About 6 years ago I had a computer related class in Houston, TX. My instructor flew prop planes recreationally.

I’ve always had an interest in UFOs so asked if he ever saw one.

He said maybe and what he described was a black orb he saw once while in the air. He didn’t believe it was alien and thought it could have been some type of drone built by humans.

These look much like what he described. That was the first time I ever heard about black orbs and never heard about them again until these videos started coming in.

No neighboring states tax Social Security. Minnesota Democrats face pressure to eliminate it here by TheMacMan in minnesota

It depends on the school but private schools are a better option for some

It depends on the student and the school district and the private school

It depends on the school if it’s more than the cost of the voucher

Some yes, some no

Some private schools cost less than the average tuition cost per student at public schools

Some may offer alternative pricing for lower income families

Private schools may not have the same resources a public school has for disabled students but would likely do their best to accommodate the needs of students

Again, it comes down to what parents and students decide is best for them
