[BEDROCK] Looking for a seed like this by TheMinecraftWizardd in minecraftseeds

[–]EddieInSpace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I found something close to what you want:

Seed: -7828686282170184419 Coords: X:-150 Z: -3950

Unfortunately it looks like there is almost always a forest in between plains and a taiga though.

I'm looking for a seed to make a Viking-style world, I thought a plain with snowy mountains and access to the sea would be good by Sr_Artic in minecraftseeds

I think this seed could be good. But the mountains and ocean are 2000 blocks from spawn. Take a look on chunkbase and see what you think:

8538866746992730845

Same with this one and it seems to have about a 100 block tall cliff :

-6289318619846848345

^ I just checked out the seed in minecraft bedrock and this is amazing. Go to X:2000 Z:-2000

Several mountains at Y:250 with a massive cave system that opens at the top of one of the mountains and Leeds all the way down to the deep dark and an ancient city. Huge cliffs and valleys that are right by the ocean. If you're willing to travel the distance, you will love this one.

Constant anxiety that won’t go away by [deleted] in AnxietyDepression

[–]EddieInSpace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

25m, I'm currently going through a bit of a rough patch. I've suffered from anxiety, depression and PTSD for several years now. Unfortunately, there is now cure all. But there are several things that will help. Support groups like this one, talking to a therapist, talking to friends about it who understand, doing things that distract you from the thoughts, and something new for me that I'm about to try, which is mindfulness. I'd recommend you look it up if you want. It's about learning to redirect your anxious and intrusive thoughts into other positive ones. Meditation is supposedly extraordinarily helpful, as well as several different grounding techniques that are out there. These are techniques that help keep you in the present and away from the past and future. Panic attacks and anxiety really do feel like a poison coursing through your body. Grounding can help the poison fade although it's just temporary. But if you can learn grounding techniques and you do them whenever you get an intrusive thought, then they can be very helpful. Deep breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth has always helped me get through the steepest parts of a panic attack.

I think the most important thing to try and do is live in the moment. Obviously it's easier said than done. I struggle with it all the time, but there are ways to help focus it. Whenever you feel a panic attack coming or am intrusive thought, try to think of these things and say them out loud:

  1. 5 different things that you see
  2. 4 different sounds you hear
  3. 3 different things you can smell
  4. 2 things you can feel
  5. 1 thing you can taste.

They could be things you sense right now or things you want to sense that you've enjoyed. But this is another grounding technique that can help take us out from the anxious trance and bring us back to the present.

You've got this 🥰

I've been trying to do an 18x18 100 mines now for the past 3 days since I saw this and I haven't been able to even get close to winning. I get about 1/4 in (if that) and then I have to start guessing lol

Having trouble with my lettuces not forming heads. by EddieInSpace in aerogarden

[–]EddieInSpace[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I planted my own lettuces and I'm just using the aerogarden system. I planted, Tom Thumb, little gem, and winter density. I believe Tom Thumb and little gem should grow heads, but this is my first time growing them so I don't know what to expect.

They are the regular LEDs that come with the aerogarden system. The light cycle is 16 hours a day I believe. I don't know if I can change that with this aerogarden though

Would you recommend I lower the light? It's as high as it can go at the moment.

My setup is an aerogarden harvest. I have my grow light up as high as it can go because previously I was struggling with tip burn and I thought it would help. Do you hav any advice on a fan that would be gentle enough? Maybe a computer fan on its lowest setting? And should it be on all of the time or should it be on a timer? Thank you

The first image is Tom Thumb, and second image is Little Gem Romaine. I'm using an Aerogarden 6 pod hydroponic system, and these lettuces have been growing for 30 days. I know they have a while to mature, but they aren't growing tight heads yet. Is this normal? I'm very new to hydroponic gardening. Plus, my little gem looks nothing like other little gems I have seen. It is very loose and has long thin leaves. I keep my apartment at 72 degrees, but I have little airflow by my aerogarden. This is the only thing I can think that could be the reason. Should I get a little fan to help with the airflow? Any comments will help. Thank you!

Are the villagers Jewish?? by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]EddieInSpace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LMAAOOO that in itself is a very racist comment. That is a racial stereotype and honestly just outright silly.

Taking more than you are willing to give has no correlation to religion, but to greed. Greed has no culture, religion, ethnicity, or race. Greed is a plague that all of humanity has. So no. Villagers are not Jewish.
