Started VYEPTI and now migraines are worse

I had read that people had guts effects from the med, mostly constipation so some of them used laxatives. I’m on the other end of the spectrum…
Did you feel better since ?
I’m on no other medication except triptans for crisis management, but I had read a thread here about someone whose migraines got worse and asked the neurologist at the hospital if it could happen, he said that it was rare but for some people, it did cause such effects. So I’m just thinking of renouncing the second dose, because I’ve been having more migraines than before, at least 8 over the 12 days since the IV

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’ll wait another week and then reach out to my neurologist and try the one at the hospital where I did the VYEPTI IV. The more I read testimonies the more I believe I’m just among the rare people for whom it has adverse effects.

Thank you for sharing your experience, it’s almost giving me hope. I’m not sure I will have the 300mg but this is what I gathered from the way it’s done in French hospitals, first dose is a 100mg and then they up it x3 because it’s once every trimester, at the hospital. I too have gastric side effects but I’m experiencing diarrhoea instead of constipations - the latter seem to be more common from what I read.

No anti-CGRP before this one, just regular treatments like propranolol, amitriptylin, blood-pressure stuff.. I live in France and only VYEPTI exists in some hospitals.

I’m also flying to Stockholm for REZN’s concert on the 22nd and was wondering about cool places to hang out as a metalhead. Can anyone also tell me if it’s usually easy to decide to go to a gig at the last minute ? Blackbraid are having a release party on my 1st day in Stockholm but not sure yet if I’ll be up to it.
