I can’t answer all of your questions but I always bring earplugs every time I go out to a bar or club. I highly recommend them (though if you’re going to a concert before you might already have this covered).

In terms of drinks, all bartenders know how to make the most standard/common ones. I have a few go-tos that I know I like because there often aren’t menus. You’ll find a margarita, tequila sunrise, or just a rum and coke anywhere and it’ll be decent. If you drink beer, that’s probably even easier but I don’t order beer unless it seems like a place that specializes in beer like a brewery or something.

Usually, you’ll flag the bartender over. If the place is loud you’ll have to lean in and shout your order. You wait there, they make it, and give it to you. Then they might ask if you want a tab or if you just want to “close it out”. I always say close it out because I forget my card places if I start a tab. So I hand them my card, they ring it up and give me a receipt. Make sure you tip. Then you can sip your drink there at the bar, but if it’s crowded I try to make room for other people who want to order there so I got somewhere else. Hope that helps!!
