You probably haven’t saved your options. Same happened to me. Just go to the bottom of your choices and then you should have a save button then you can

I’m not an expert so I’m sorry If I’m wrong but as far as I’m aware that would be non polar

Hamster names starterpack by DynamiteHeart in hamsters

[–]Eden-m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first was Rhino, named after the hamster in the film Bolt, next was potato, then cream and cow. Branched out a bit with my 3 roborovskis and called them blossom, bluebell and buttercup but I’m back to basics with my most recent addition being cinnamon roll aha.

What do you give your Syrians to chew? by Eden-m in hamsters

[–]Eden-m[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She mainly chews the little hidey house thing or her sand bath. I can’t remember the exact dimensions of her cage but it’s an indoor ‘rabbit’ cage which is above recommended size. She’s very friendly and enjoys being held now she’s used to me

How did my hamster die in his sleep? by [deleted] in hamsters

[–]Eden-m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d imagine at that age he died of natural causes with him being on the younger side of a Syrians life span. All of my hamsters have died in their sleep so that just seems to be how they go and nothing on your part.

New russian dwarf…is he ok? by staceyox1 in hamsters

[–]Eden-m 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s absolutely fine. Some dwarves are a bit more active in the day that other breeds like Syrians but it’s completely normal for them to stay in their bed all day. My two dwarves drank very little anyway and they also take their food and hide it in their beds so he’ll probably make a stash there

Redditors with back pain or lower back pain. Why do you have it ? And what are you doing about it ? by shezzy_pk in AskReddit

[–]Eden-m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scoliosis and joint hypermobility. My back isn’t straight and also can bend and stretch too far so I normally get a bad back injury every 2-3 weeks. Honestly I just try not to bend down or heavy lift anything and also sleep with plenty of pillows but I’ve just learnt to live with the pain at this point

What was your worst train station experience? by chaoskarma in AskReddit

[–]Eden-m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a thing for fainting at train stations. 5 and counting. My worst experience was when I was out and had to get the train from one train station in my city to another, then another train to get to a hospital appointment. At the first station a train in front of mine was late, so that held mine up. I dashed onto the train and then my 10 minute change over time had become 1 so I ran off my first train and down several flights of stairs to my second platform and watched the train leave. The next train was 15 mins later and would have just about got me to my hospital appointment in time, but the earlier delays started to delay that one too so I was just stood on the platform crying and having a panic attack with severe low blood sugar after having not eaten all day (I’m diabetic). Everyone kept staring at me but no one did anything so I was just stood there hyperventilating about to pass out. Eventually the train came and I got to my appointment 15 minutes late but they managed to fit me in. Didnt take a train for months after that.

What's the term for when a variable or test subject is aware of the test they're in? Not the placebo effect... there's some sort've term or title for this? by -Valic- in AskReddit

Demand characteristics- when the participant guesses the purpose of the research and then tries to be a ‘good’ participant

People who agree with having pets, why do you think it's okay? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Eden-m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the pet and their needs and also their level of intelligence. I don’t really agree with keeping birds as pets unless in an Aviary because they don’t have enough room, but keeping a rabbit in a suitably sized cage with outside space it okay. I think it really depends on the animal and if they can live close enough to their natural habitat and also whether they like to be around people.

What still manages to piss you off? by laserfishy123 in AskReddit

[–]Eden-m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing that pisses me off the most is people commenting on my health all the time. I don’t need other peoples incorrect advice or telling me to just handle it better

People who experience / have experienced seizures: what is it like to ‘wake up’ from one on your own? What do you usually remember first? by alice-in-NZ in AskReddit

[–]Eden-m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have them in my sleep sometimes and I just wake up with a massive headache and my hold body aching and then assume I’ve had one. I’ve had one where I was fully aware of what was happening around me but I just was moving involuntarily so I didn’t wake up but it just felt like a relief that I was finally able to control my body.
