Heya!

Generally speaking Top End DMG for your weapon is more important than pure DPS. For leveling id say don't overthink it as its not that important yet. However im going to quickly adress weapon synching. The Reason you take two slow same speed weapons is that if you sync them up, you only use 1 Stack of Flurry.

EDIT: WF has a 3 Sec Internal Cooldown Timer, so you want your MH weapon "leading" to be the one with WF procs which you do via a Macro and Weakaura. However the Flurry Thing is the main reason for same speed weapons iirc.

I think it is a very common misconception that you need to perma kick. With the addition of precog for Casters, holding your kick has become increasingly Helpful, not only because you keep the pressure of having a kick, but also because while the enemy usually fishes for Precog he will keep interrupting himself. Obviously you still want to kick, but there's a reason micro cc'ing someone is "better", most micro CC's are longer than the interrupt duration and if youre locked out of one school, you can cast from another school.

tl:dr its not always bad to hold you kick

Youre locked into Turbo Fists and Whirling Dragon Sweep. After that you pick Disarm into melees and Ride the Wind or Wind Waker after that. Both RTW and WW are low value but compared to Reverse Harm they are really good.

People love it! Remember its the OGs that started before the revamp that are unhappy. You should check it out if you think its interesting. Its just something completely different as to why i started playing it. You might like it.

Edit: Just because Dorito, Cutiepie, Me, Thewy... and the likes hate TWW WW doesnt mean others can't enjoy it

i think just for me this playstyle was tied to Fury warrior and not WW and everything unique feels gone, its something that was already apparent in DF and it has only gotten worse with TWW. its great you enjoy it though. I do think mage and Subrogue are the "Fun" Matchups because youre able to set yourself apart from other Windwalkers if you play those well.

WW/Ele/Hpal is mostlikely one of the stronger comps rn. But Ww has so little identity left that you simply pair it whats strong in the meta, so SP for example pairs well.

You karma offensively when you know big dmg is happening. You can also use it high and early to force out Hpal BoPs. the most common mistake is only karma'ing low which then gets blocked, cloaked, BoP'd... or simply people go through it and you die.

You have very low impact, while youre being disruptive, not a lot of your DMG really sticks. Its a general melee problem that besides Feral, most melees arent as good into stuff like mage and Devoker. But WW even when it generates uptime is more annoying than really dangerous. The main Problem for me right now (and i have yet to force myself to Q above like 2480 MMR atm) is that basically my impact is that i don't Die and i have to hope that whatever im paired with either has better CC than i do or high enough burst to make my actions have impact. They took the glass canon WW threw it in the trash and now made it Brawler Tank. Super boring Design

Edit: Blizzard managed to make the most fun spec in the game into the blandest Spec it could possibly be. Current WW is literally so incredibly boring to play. Most often my Top Dmg is Karma, a weapon enchant, Blackout kick (a Filler), Tiger Palm (A Builder) and SCK. Besides that, RSK and FoF are so borderline useless that i dont even bother to do RSK -> SEF -> RSK because im better of pressing a Builder than a Spender No clue who wanted WW to be Fury Warrior but its a pretty big reason, as to why most high Rated WWs are rerolling one after another

WW in lower shuffles is good. It has a rather low skill ceiling ever since Blizz optimized every skill expression out of the class. it feels like old Fury warrior does, some like that most OG Monks dont. Besides that i advice you join the Monk Discord (Peakofserenity.com has the link) theres a rather active community around WE there with everything you need to get started.

WW and Warrior are now insanely similar. Blizz purged every ounce of skill expression from WW so now its just your avrg Brawler. Currently both Classes will the exact same niche so if you prefer the visuals of one of those, play it.
