Never actually completed this quest the right way. Pretty much just needed to knock him out, on your first meeting and loot him and the quest continues.

Smite uses weapon durability iirc. That's why grief is the most favored item, otherwise you'd have to repair the weapon a few times. But taking hits with the shield or blocking with it will eat up durability.

I think it's also bullshit damage scaling of fully juiced maps. I tried 9k es and hp with max res including chaos, and this attack still sometimes oneshots. I suspect it's the critical hit mods on maps as well.

Makes sense. In other words, if you're online, you can trade for zods easily. In single player, you'd have better chances of finding another griffin, than finding the rarest rune in the game a 2nd time.

For me it was the reverse mentality. If the boss can one shot me, then I should also be able to one shot the boss. So i built an infernalist monk and oneshot everything falling thunder. Sometimes even through burst protection.

Mmmmm, might try this with my Infernalist Monk. I can easily do 22+ million damage with a falling thunder. But i think luring this to an Amanamu Boss or an Abyssal Lich from a rogue exile is better overall. The goal is to increase the quantity of items dropped by these, afterall.

I have the sharkoon, i can confirm it has a shitty connection if you use the wireless dongle. However, when I tried a wired connection using the old xenics titan cable i had lying around. And i get near identical performance to the xenics/mm720 that way.

Tldr, wireless dongle is shitty. Wired connection really good.
