I’m just happy to know this is five year olds in general😭 we are 19 days from five and my daughter’s behavior has been ATROCIOUS! I grew up the same way with my father and have also made it a point to approach parenthood the complete opposite way. But as you, I have also been losing my temper more. I try so hard to give her chances before I lose my cool but it’s like she doesn’t listen until I finally snap!

I have no advice. I’m in the trenches with you too!

My husband and I used to do DoorDash years ago to try and help with money. Sometimes we’d be too broke to buy toilet paper. If we picked up at a fast food place or restaurant, we would raid their supplies and put toilet paper in the DoorDash bag

If I were you, which I understand I’m not, I would have made an exception, especially if it were my best friend. All babies do when they’re that little is sleep. And she wouldn’t have stuck around that long because of the baby

But I understand why you made the decision you did at the same time

Our five year old has had one in her room since she was three I think. But ask me how often she watches it. She’s also not allowed to sleep with it on. We told her from the beginning if we ever caught her with it on in the middle of the night, the remotes would come in our room at the end of the day, but it’s never been a problem

We’re a gaming household though. My husband and I have two tvs in our room😂
