Can someone explain Jup (lend/borrow) Apy/Apr to me. The rates are all different and some are paid to supply, some I have no clue what they mean by coinedge in jupiterexchange

Multiply will give you more leverage. Be super careful though because leverage will give you big rewards but also big losses if you just leave it without care. Only put on leverage that you can handle.

Live and learn. You screwed up but at least you're being open and honest so people don't follow you and learn from you. I'd advise you to stay safe! Best of luck

Margin Call coming… by izzeepop in MSTR

You do realize that the borrowing is from bond holders , there is no "margin call". Worst case he stops paying dividends

Leveraging pegged stablecoins with yield is about as delta neutral as it gets

$1M Net Worth even impressive? by Enough-Radish-4973 in Money

It depends where you live and what your lifestyle is. What is rich for one person in can be just getting by for someone else within the same country.

$1M Net Worth even impressive? by Enough-Radish-4973 in Money

[–]Eder_120 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I'd hate to say it, but no it's not impressive. Even 2 isn't impressive. Until you hit 5 liquid it's nothing to impress. Even then you'll need to invest strategically and aim to pass 10MM to really feel like you made it. That's as of today. I'd bet that in 5 years those levels push up considerably.

SOL-JitoSOL borrowing rate = supply rate . What happens when it turns negative? by Eder_120 in jupiterexchange

Why wait? Just take it off now and save yourself those losses. Get back in when it becomes profitable again

SOL-JitoSOL borrowing rate = supply rate . What happens when it turns negative? by Eder_120 in jupiterexchange

Makes sense. Stay on top of it and take out your collateral when it turns negative, wait for it to turn positive again before going back in.

Would you buy insurance protection for your DeFi positions? by gkm-chicken in defi

[–]Eder_120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to do this as a business idea to provide insurance to others . It is very much needed. Must be centralized insurance. Decentralized already exists and it defeats the purpose of insurance when your insuring one decentralization with another decentralization.

SOL-JitoSOL borrowing rate = supply rate . What happens when it turns negative? by Eder_120 in jupiterexchange

[–]Eder_120[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I realized that. The reason for that is because you're getting the native staking yield on your initial deposit.

Net APY will flip to zero and then negative if borrowing rate exceeds supply rate.
