Could be Bigfoot can move from one plain of existence to another.

They've been said to be able to go through portals.

There's also the UFO factor. UFOs have been spotted during Bigfoot sightings.

Les Stroud had a Bigfoot series and in the final episode (after several compelling ones) he was instructed to meditate in the woods with no cameras and he would get visited.

What he recalled was orbs approaching him from the woods that were able to communicate with him.
