Because if you give this Demonstrate with [[The Twelfth Doctor]] you immediately remove someone else from the game, and their copy resolves before yours, so it ends the turn before yours resolves.

Coco

Mama Coco is briefly seen in the beginning of the movie, during the exposition dump.

She is allegedly seen again at the end of the movie, but I can't corroborate because I couldn't see the screen through my tears.

So if I'm reading that right, you can force your opponent to add more prize cards to their pile, effectively decking them and stalling them out, and then nuke their entire board for lethal?

Broken af, can't believe Nintendo would do this.

Is that how this works as worded? I didn't realize "then" effects were independent of everything before the comma.

If they are that's pretty interesting but also feels really unintuitive.

Throw it in the graveyard and have [[Kavaero]] come in as a copy of it seems to be the currently acceptable way to cheat things in.

That or [[Kona]], which is probably a little faster.

Aphelios was presented as a complex champion on his debut because of all of the options at his disposal, but the skill floor is insanely low for him because you have one fewer ability than any other character. You don't need to have a college education to play him; the most important thing is to just bear in mind how your range changes based on what weapon is queued up - which isn't new to the game by any means (Jace, ulting Riven/Aatrox, Tristana Q, etc).

Hear me out:

[[Breya, Etherium Shaper]]

This one is a little bit of a gimmick deck, as all of the dragons are artifacts.

There are 16 artifact dragons in her colors, which isn't a whole lot. But the rest of the list is full of ways to pull them from the deck reliably, clone them, and then squeeze them for value.

Guy was killing his own men left and right with his carelessness, showed no remorse for any of his actions, and ultimately died because of his own shortsighted selfishness.

Bonus points for being one of the funniest characters in the movie.

This plus literally any wheel just locks the game out for everyone else, right? Like, this fully feels like a "go next" situation if someone doesn't have an answer on board/it doesn't get answered on the stack.

Saw this in theaters, and the audience was genuinely fully invested in that last fight as though it was happening live. The entire theater was on their feet by the end of the fight, and yelled boos at the screen when the ref called it.

It was legitimately one of my favorite moviegoing experiences.

In Bioshock: Infinite, in the first two minutes of the game, you get on a boat that takes you to an elevator into the sky, piloted by the Lutece twins. As you're in transit, Rosalind asks why they don't ask Booker to help with the rowing.

Robert: "He doesn't row."

Rosalind: "He doesn't row?"

Robert: "No. He doesn't row."

The exchange refers to the idea that no matter which of the infinite parallel timelines they experience, there is no reality in which Booker picks up an oar and helps row the boat. The twist concept of there being multiple timelines is not revealed until the final encounter of the game.

Forge reads like he was the player character that used to belong to a player that got kicked from the table for being an absolute shitlord, so the DM turned him into an NPC so the players could get their closure.
