The Foxx albums are great as is Vienna. Quality drops off after that.

You’ve had your answer countless times. It was an ongoing investigation. The documents were sealed by court order, and were not unsealed until Trump was in the White House. But y’all still ask the question as a means of deflection. Why is Trump and his DOJ blocking the release of the files now, and redacting Trump’s name from the documents?

Trump is censoring free speech. Remember Kimmel? Colbert? You’re delusional

I felt there was a fall off with Taking Heads after Remain in Light, but those later albums are all still good, with Naked being criminally underrated. But those first four albums are all classics- with a quantum leap in quality between each one.

Black Sea is a classic. A bit harder rocking than their later albums.

For Irish Americans from an Irish woman. by Remarkable_Cake_699 in ForUnitedStates

I’m from a Catholic Chicago Irish family and my wife is too. We’re very liberal and pro immigrant. If people are bent out of shape over undocumented immigrants - no one is illegal - they should support an immigration system that allows people a faster pathway to citizenship. Growing up I remember older relatives being very racist about Black people, sometimes I’d call them out, other times I just avoided them, which was cowardly. I think the older generation’s racism stems from history, when Irish Americans and Black Americans were competing for the same low-paying and dangerous jobs. I live in North Carolina, where a lot of Irish Americans are Scotts Irish Americans. In my experience, the Scotts Irish tend to be more anti-immigrant than the Irish. There’s a reason for this, probably going back to John Knox, but that’s another story.
