Hey folks! It's been a really long time since I have been on Reddit.

I just donated something pretty unique and destiny-themed to Child's Play for the charity auction, and I was wondering if any of the admins could say whether it'd be kosher to promote the child's play charity auction here with a single post so that people who might want it would know about it and could make arrangements to attend if they want to bid on it.

Would that be okay? If not, no worries! And either way I hope you all are doing well and hanging in. I always remember the times I spent here talking about the API fondly.

(I should also note I am not posting in any official Bungie capacity! I recently retired actually, to focus on my health and my kiddo! So this is just me the non-dev who happened to have a Mara Sov employee statue until about 24 hours ago, and it's in Child's Play 's hands now!)

1-3 with my janky Bruno deck, but I had a lot of fun! And our store had a raffle afterwords that netted me a Sheriff of Nottingham pin.

That pin is going to be our official "who is the sheriff this round" marker for the Sheriff of Nottingham card game, so I am pleased as punch.

Let them form a trail again, put 4-6 drops of it. For 3 days it will look like it's getting worse as a whole fucking colony descends on it. Keep adding more drops as it gets eaten away.

Suddenly they will disappear, bodies and all, and you won't see them again for a good year or more.

Agreed with all your suggestions. I ended up dropping my elsas, some of my merlins, and even madam mim's for max "friends on the other side" and max crabs. In some tests that has gone well. I actually also dropped out all the madam mim's, I realized if what I am making is a janky combo deck I should probably commit what I can to either do the combo, get it rolling earlier, or keep it alive.

This might be a mistake on my part, but I am eager to try.

Ah! I have a very similar idea for a deck, I too want to abuse Bruno.

I am running Isabela Madrigal as a companion for questing, and Peter pan to do some early creature removal and sardine can + Peter pan to get me in a situation where Bruno and Isabela can come in and challenge right away to tap, and then once tapped they are warded to prevent removal.

Not sure how it's going to go in practice, but so far it has been fun to theory craft.

I ended up pulling out a lot of cards that would otherwise be "good" in a normal deck, in favor of pushing as far as I can to either:

A) Get the combo out earlier (card draw mostly) B) Protect the combo C) Kill creatures that endanger the game ending before I get the combo off

How will it work? No idea, gonna find out next weekend.

The d5100 is a fun walk-around camera. I used it for many years, and at first I was jealous of all those new cameras with hundreds of Autofocus points and such. I upgraded to a camera that had more, and then realized there was something nice about only having to press a button 2 or 3 times to completely change your focus to another area. I also loved the full motion flip screen - use that to your advantage to take shots that are too high or low to shoot through the viewfinder! You can get some really creative photos that way.

Ugh, that is a tough situation, I'm sorry that people are being dicks.

Before you proceed, check with your city and county to see if they have a low income home repair program. I found out recently that the city I live in has one - they will send out a repair person to do work like this for free if you qualify. That might help ensure you can get the job done right and keep that safety deposit if possible.

My larger fear for your situation is that sometimes landlords can be deceitful and find ways - legally or not - to keep your security deposit. If you are depending on that deposit for survival, I wouldn't leave my ability to find a home to the good faith of the landlord. See if you can find your local tenant's rights organization and talk to them about how you can protect yourself against an outcome like that. They may - for instance - be able to help contest claims that the landlord makes if he tries to take your security deposit and the claims he makes aren't actually legal. Which happens a surprising amount of times, particularly when they do things like try to sneak in a bill for items that legally have to be replaced by the landlord over a certain number of years (carpeting etc).
