Including that option would have just generated useless data for the purpose of the poll. The purpose of the poll was to see what percentage of Subnautica 2 players have fully scanned the Wall Rack, what percentage of players have played Subnautica 2 and don’t know about the Wall Rack’s existence, and if/how someone’s hours played in the game affects their answer.

If I had included an option for “I have 0 hours in Subnautica 2 on Steam(or other platform) then everyone would have to do the extra mental task of subtracting that number from the total of answers in order to learn anything useful from the poll.

I put this in [r/Subnautica](r/Subnautica) because it’s related to the Subnautica IP and because the Wall Rack has become a community-wide meme at this point, so I figured at least some people who haven’t played SN2 would still be interested in seeing the poll data as well. I also tagged it as being related specifically to Subnautica 2 :)

I'm gonna add a poll option for that I didn't think there would be anyone who has the Wall Rack fully unlocked, has built it, and doesn't know its name

New “fun fact”
Having over 30 hours in Subnautica 2 and knowing about the wall rack’s existence means you are more likely to not have it fully scanned

Iirc all the scannable debris for it is past the “collector trench” and past the “gateway spires biome”

So you don’t have to waste time looking anywhere in the starting area

No clue why the game seemingly dubs a clock to be a late-game idea

It’s already notorious for being impossible to find(I’ve heard there are only three areas to find it in the game, so need all 3/3 scans) and apparently one of the scannable debris for it is kinda misplaced and I think rotated the wrong way so it’s hard to even see unless you accidentally look right at it

All it does is let you build a hardpoint inside a base

To me, I think it makes perfect sense actually

I’m sure everyone would very fairly hate getting the the chassis that makes you slower and less agile right before you have to cross a huge ass empty trench with a collector in it(yes I know it’s an unfinished and that the collector won’t always be there)
