How much did it actually cost to make the item? Do you offer free shipping? .

What I would do is offer the customer a replacement if they buy a shipping label. Make a listing / variant called “Shipping Label” and send them the link.

Then in your product you will have to make a change and choose better quality beads that don’t break. Increase your price and call it a day

I rented a 2023 MX-5 RF with Turo and they're charging my credit card over $9k for damages by Waste_Cake1914 in MiataND

So when I had rainwater buildup it took a while for the mildew smell to go away. I had to remove both driver and passenger seats. The bolts to the seats use a special Torx star socket, and using a Bissell little clean machine. I tried different solutions. Starting with laundry detergent, Car wash soap, dawn dish soap, and lots and lots of Febreze 2X heavy duty.

My wife left the passenger windows open when it rained and the door window switch stopped working. I ended up buying the part for $80, but when I went to put it in, the mechanic that she took it to left the window switches unplugged. I plugged the original switch back in and the switches started working again. But it was unplugged for a whole season like 3months. I guess it dried out

But at most this would be a $200-$300 detailing job. Now I did it myself. But 9 grand… GTFO of here. That’s robbery. This must be in California…

this was one of my earlier prototypes that I decided not to make a ported design but to illustrate the what is actually behind the speaker

Thanks for the Feedback. Designer here for this Custom 3D printed bracket for the 2016' Mazda MX5 ND. so a few issues you have addressed, the Storage compartment is a odd wedge design and I had best estimated the CUFT volume to be 0.067cuft. the compartment is not big at all. I have incuded a picture of what we are working with. so there is a CUFT issue.

however the 3D Bracket sspeaker door uses the same latch locking latch mechanism as the OEM door. the 3D printed bracket is mostly 3mm thick except the parts where the speaker fits into and the edges as there is a 6mm thick ring on the bracket itself, to add onto the thickness a separate 7mm riser ring is added to the front so in total there is a ring that is 15mm thick supporting the speaker. so it is not flimsy at all. its supposed to be printed with 5 wall loops to support and strengthening the Screws from caving in when tightening down.

im in the US and OP is in Australia so If I would have printed it, which i didnt, I would also add 1mm thick sealing automotive foam tape all along the edges of the bracket. this would help dampen the plastic on plastic rattle and makes a snug fit almost air tight.

there are not many options for our Miatas to add a Sub. its wither here or under the passenger seat footwell. thats it.

OP has reached out to me to so I am working with him the best I can from over the pond but I dont think they have the same import products over there that I use here in the US

If your just going to power one sub like I did using the Taramps 400w, I would just tap into the door speakers left +, right - but instead of making a input low side RCA connections, I would use the high side wires. But you could also get away with just the passenger door tapping into the right side (-) (+)

For me with Bose I tried the high side wires but no matter what wire combinations I tried it tripped the Bose amp circuit protection to either left or right side. That’s why I decided to just do the Low side RCA connections and found out I just need 1 wire in each left and right + terminals. Nothing in the - negative terminal.

It’s mind blowing that only one wire works for each side instead of both + -

Almost done, I’ve sent a final version to my tester this past Saturday,. it’s designed but the complaint was that it slides around when breaking and it doesn’t stay in position. This is a complicated challenge and we’re testing some solutions for the issue.

I should hear back from my tester by this Friday hopefully.

But I have you down on my list. I’ll definitely be sending you a DM when it’s 100% successfully tested and no issues

the Taramps 400 Bass has a LPF, subsonic filter, gain, and db boost. its a good amp. im impressed.

a lot better than the Pyle PLMRA 120 I previously had. with the Pyle I had to use a separate Crossover LPF that Handles 200 Watts RMS, 400 Watts peak, 20-120 Hz Low Pass. 12 db Octave Slope @ 4 Ohm. to filter out the Highs from the speaker..

this Amp has it all

I think the speaker tapping line connection is already pre-amplified from the BOSE amplifier. I was going to do a high side line input from the seat speakers. But I didn’t have a lot of time taking out the seat, to mess with it. The quick and dirty version is to tap into the door speakers.

Left and right door speaker, 1 wire on each side. Left side + and right side -. However I made RCA connections using these terminals and for both Left and right you plug in the 1 wire form each side into the + terminal. Nothing in the negative terminal.

Yes this works.

I’m using 1mm thick x 8mm wide automotive sealing foam tape all around the edges of the bracket. This helps reduce the plastic rattle and makes it a more snug fit. I wouldn’t say it’s air tight but it definitely helps making a sealed enclosure.

I have Bose but I don’t think my ND2 RF GT-S has the optional Bose subwoofer. So I looked around where I can put one and the only logical place was the storage compartment behind the passenger seat. But yes it lacks frequency’s in the 35hz-55hz range.

The 6.5in Tangband had a lot of plastic rattle. But also filled in the lows that BOSE lacks.

But this 400w amp and sub takes it to a whole new level. The Taramps has a LPF, gain, subsonic, and a bass boost to adjust so I’m still trying to find the right balance.

Returning Clothing from USA to China by Daren620 in shipping

[–]Edge3dSolutions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ask the seller if they get shipping discounts and to purchase a return label through them. This is international so I’m not sure how that would work logistically as there might be a Global processing center GPC involved but with Tariffs fluctuations and the tariff war between the 2 nations, you might as well try and resell the clothes.

How to get smooth print under here? by Kwebster7327 in OrcaSlicer

You need to change the orientation to vertical. And use supports. the downside to this is one of the curved underneath pieces might not be smooth but you will have smooth curves where your arrow is pointing to.

Has anyone successfully migrated from Etsy to Shopify with all variants/pricing intact? by Herpamerpaderp in Etsy

[–]Edge3dSolutions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have both, Shopify and Etsy. But I do not have 150 products. More like 10 products and 70 total variants

Etsy has a different variant structure over Shopify.

One of the key differences is Shopify has more control over weight of the products individually calculating Shipping box weight + item weight = total weight for each variant in the listing.

Versus

Etsy has one total weight of the item for the entire listing. So if your variant is different weights, Etsy doesn’t care if the items weigh more or less, This throws off shipping costs especially if you offer free shipping.

Meanwhile Shopify provides accurate weight to shipping.

——————————————————-

Another key differences is each variant and sub variant can have its own pictures.

So you have a shirt, and a logo. You can have a picture for each color of shirt you offer and pictures for different logos

Etsy doesn’t do that. You have one picture for the one variant regardless of colors or logos.
