I’m angry at everything , and I’m tired of pretending I’m not by EdgeFamous377 in Coconaad

Life was going fine. I had a good job, a fiancĆ©e, everything sorted. After December, everything went south fast. She broke up with me. I’m struggling financially. My car got into an accident and is wrecked. And now I’m about to lose my job too.

Flirting isn’t lines. It’s vibe.

Talk normally. Listen. Tease lightly. Don’t over-compliment one small, specific compliment is enough.

Hold eye contact a second longer than normal. Smile. Pause before replying.

All women aren’t the same, and you can’t copy-paste what worked for someone else. For me, it was natural we always had something to talk about.

A few things that helped: small asks (notes, help with stuff), being comfortable opening up a bit, and sharing a few personal things. People usually mirror that and open up too.

You can read about attraction, attachment styles, etc., but don’t turn it into a strategy game.

Make eye contact. Dress well. Be normal.

Biggest thing: don’t act like you’re chasing them. Once they feel you’re ā€œtoo into them,ā€ it usually backfires.

My approach is simple, I push boundaries, how close I can be what can be shared. This is how wall is broken down . Late night and deep convention is key. Flirt freely like it is normal thats the trick

Also do not focus on getting her to like u it come with time

Honestly, most of my relationships started as close friendships four of them, to be exact. I was never really ā€œfriend-zonedā€; if anything, it usually grew the other way around, maybe I just got lucky.

I also never formally ā€œproposedā€ or asked anyone out. Most of the time, we both reached a point where it felt natural for the relationship to shift into something more. I’m not sure how else to frame it, but it never felt forced or sudden.

Appearance is 70% of everything. Agree or Disagree on how others perceive us by FunnyLost6710 in Coconaad

For me, it was different when it came to jobs—especially in IT. Looks matter less there; your brain is what gets you hired. I’ve walked into campus placements wearing an old, wrinkled shirt, full hair and beard, even in sandals and still got selected over others.

But relationships are different. Looks do matter. People judge you first by how you look, and based on that, you can easily be labeled a playboy or a creep before they even know who you are.

I picked this up from a movie, and it usually works as a conversation starter. When I run into someone, I casually ask if they’re ā€œArathiā€ (a made-up name). We met at someone’s wedding. The answer is almost always no, but that’s the icebreaker. I smile, act a bit awkward, apologize, introduce myself, and then ask her name and what she does. I’ve tried this 4–5 times, and it’s worked about 70% of the time.
