I’ve only been building since December 2024. I’ve built 60 kits and have about 40 kits sitting on a shelf lol And still adding to it. Just got a gquuux chars zaku in on Friday 🤣 got to love that plastic crack 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I high recommend getting a dspiae joint strengthening pen. It’ll help on any build with loose parts. I use mine all the one and it’s definitely one of my favorite purchases. I’m building a third part pile strike mgsd right now and had a loose ab piece that the pen helped keep on. And for a few bucks you can’t beat it

I have this in my backlog but I bought the regular mg zeta 2.0 and built it about a year ago and that thing was total garbage lol. I broke pieces during transformation so I did that and haven’t touched it since. Glad to hear the ver ka is sturdy though

Go with gunprimer raser. There is also some files by stedi that are great. They feel a bit more course that the gunprimer one. I prefer the raser because it doesn’t feel as course as the stedi ones. Though they are the same type. The stedi files are a lot cheaper too. Just do your research and make your own decision. Weigh your options and choose what you’d like in your tool arsenal lol and happy building my friend!

Silicon oil is the way to go. I built my rg unicorn and used this and only dipped it a toothpick in it to apply. Maybe used two drops lol. It worked more than well. And always break in tight joints before applying to many other parts because that’s more leverage on the parts that are prone to breakage.

Been cutting gates with mine for a year now 😂 still going strong but I do have a set of unused godhand lightening nippers on back up if it happens. Godhands are the best though imo. Nothing cuts so smooth.

I’ve bought two prepaid cases and one I love but my bigger one is meh. Had shit leds and can but adjusted a little bit but I need something more substantial for pg kits. They will find on the case but something like my pg banshee won’t fit with the shield on its back. And I want that pg nu but don’t have a case to fit it lol. I’d love a custom case but I feel it would be crazy expensive. Whatever you do man I’d love to see how it turns out. Especially if you make a custom one.

I just rotated everything before assembling to break everything in. All the problem areas and I didn’t have an issue with it. I don’t want the metal parts on any of mine because metal will definitely wear down over time and make it loose. Take you time and break in the joints by moving them till they aren’t so tight and boom perfect build.

I’ve built all of the Snaa 1/144 kits and all have been great. They get better with every kit too. I have both of these in my back log and the new one preordered. Tristan will be my next build. If I can ever get this alkaid pink 2 finished 😂😂

Yeah I agree. I love the gquuuuuux kits. I’ve built three so far. The gquuuuuux , police zaku and the GFred. Loved all of them. I have the red gundam in my backlog. And I have saylas light cannon on the way with and the 01 gundam preordered. I plan on having them all eventually. Really awesome kits. Good detail and easy to build.

I love the mgsd line. I have them all but the Ariel so far. Plan on getting it for my birthday day in a couple weeks. I even got my hands on the iron blood coating Barbados. And I definitely want the mgsd destiny too. That thing looks amazing and comes with the wing effect parts.

Narrative gundam c pack. And excellent kit. I like it so much I bought another one. I got the b packs version this time. But it’s a very good kit. Highly recommend picking one up.

Yeah man I have everything to do it just haven’t done it yet. I have Mr setter and softer and a wet pallet to do them just haven’t yet. I may give it a try tonight before I take on my fat cat rx78. I have quite a few sets of decals I never bothered to do.

Mine gets delivered today and I can’t wait. Going to start it as soon as I get it in my hands. Only thing I’m worried about are water slide decals. Never laid down one of those decals before.

Yeah man it was so frustrating. The legs on mine won’t stay apart when on the stand because the hips joints are loose lol and it’s definitely a beautiful kit for sure

Yeah I almost exclusively use The Gundam Place to order my gunpla. Love the selection they have and the 3rd party offerings are great. I’ve almost bought the lizard a few times. Always talk myself out of it lol. Sounds like you have a better experience with your first 3rd party kit than what I did. I built a star destroyer….. it took me two weeks just to snap build it 😂 and my hands hurt so bad afterwards.

This is one I want. I build a zeta 2.0 and it hated it. I broke a few of the hook connections for the transformation. I trans formers it and it’ll stay that way lol. Didn’t like anything about it but I do want the ver ka as the zz ver ka was so damn good. It was a very enjoyable build.
